Hello.
On the recent BLP issue here, you issued a level one warning to the perpetrator. I issued {{ blp1}} which is for obvious BLP violations. In other words, material was inserted which could be significantly damaging. In that case, given that my warning was issued, you should either issue {{ blp2}} or a block, where, the blocking admin would issue {{ blp3}}. Thanks. 69.155.143.96 ( talk) 04:45, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

Hello User:Jim1138, I hope you are well. I also often remove culturally / religiously specific honorifics and terminology as per Wikipedia WP:MOSISLAM guidelines. Yet I'm afraid that two of your recent edits have removed honorics that are actually part of the quotes, and not honorifics added subsequently to Wikipedia by Muslim editors. If a Muslim writer calls his book, for example, The Life of the Prophet Muhammad, SAW, then that remains the title. If a Muslim says "I give all thanks to Allah subhanahu waTaala" (sometimes "swt"), then that remain the quote. Sorry to have to revert those. I really do think you are an excellent editor. Best regards, George Custer's Sabre ( talk) 08:25, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
It's outrageous that you deleted "the first lesbian in space" edit from Sally Ride's bio. It's a crucial part of her biography, inspirational to millions of gay people around the world, and confirmed by press reports and her own company's death announcement today.
We're not in the 1960s any more. Being a lesbian - especially a pioneering lesbian - is a source of pride, not of shame. Especially when the person's own company is so open about it.
Shame on you for your bigoted deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enzuli ( talk • contribs) 00:31, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
But it was sourced - in the PERSONAL section. In any event, I added a source now. It's being discussed everywhere. And it's clearly an important part of how she lived and of her legacy. The page was not deleted but intentionally redirected to Tuckahoe Marble which is the accurate and verified name for the specific stone that is being discussed. There are no sources to even validate "Westchester Marble" as being an even remotely notable name of a specific rock. Additionally most of the content used in the "Westchester Marble" is taken directly from info. taken directly from "Tuckahoe". If anything Westchester Marble can refer to the marble produced throughout different parts of the county, however, there would be nothing notable about that. The marble of recognition is specifically from the quarry at Tuckahoe, from which the entire development of the town of "Tuckahoe" is based. Tuckahoe Marble is known by name, place of origin, and physical qualities and color. Thanks -- 66.87.2.231 ( talk) 06:59, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

Hello Jim, sorry for all the trouble but I believe some people in my hometown wish to censor any material that they deem unacceptable. I've noted two songs and a fictional novel that keeps getting deleted. The other stuff I've entered may very well violate your terms but as to the songs and the novel they are both notable and primary sources. Am I missing something here? I am rather fond of my hometown both the good and the bad. tiltedsun88
It's notable to people who live in this town so I guess keep hitting your head and maybe something will shake loose?? jokin...It's under the interesting facts section which I see as trivia that is not necessarily of historic value. Also, you are not the only one deleting things here. I'm sure there are things about your hometown that are only interesting to you. I kinda like the one song and the other is terrible but then I don't like country music so. Most people in my town pretend the novel does'nt exist so I don't think I can budge on that one in my opinion. Jim, even if an Indian newspaper put out an article praising a particular translation, that's not a useful evaluation. It's one obscure newspaper; the article could have been written by a friend of the translator; the article could have been based on a press release. The translation list would be useless if it filled up with praise of one or another translation from possibly interested parties. It is useful to know that it was translated in South Asia and that it uses AmE. Zora ( talk) 22:38, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Your removal of Tom Zionkowski is incorrect, he is an extremely notable alum who is cited as the youngest paid dance music producer in the state of illinois . Also as a touring midwestern dj and has been featured in magazines such as MIXMAG and Lets Mix. Also is a pioneer sponsored professional dj and has collaberated with the likes of LIL Jon and Ludacris on and dance anthem For the University of Wisconsin. Also noted for being featured on BBC Radio 1 with DJ Kutski. Also noted official remix of Naturally by Salena Gomez. As well as a feature in the chicago sun times for his sound editing for the acclaimed revitalized version of the documentary "inquiring Nuns". Also produced the entire EP for Booshua a Chicagoan rap artist well known in the college scene. Is signed to multiple record labels with songs on Itunes beatport amazon etc. Also a Ford model, Photographer for the Badger Herald and Capitol Times (madison). And the lead singer of 'They Never Say No' (Songs on itunes and spotify) Simple googling of dj clarity brings up a plethora of articles and pictures/interviews. Hi Jim. There is a user on the Court Bauer page making all sorts of claims about a supposed TV show in Thailand. He mentioned a TV network in Thailand. The website for that network makes no reference to any work Court Bauer has done. This user is using this to try to label Bauer as an American executive producer. The thing is that Bauer owned an independent wrestling promotion in Florida named Major League Wrestling. The company went out of business in 2004. I guess he can claim that he was also an executive producer of the same company he founded and owned but that's about it. He hasn't done anything since 2004 so at the very best he should be labeled as a former executive producer. The company MLW has not run live events since 2004 and only exists today as a website that airs podcasts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.211.139.146 ( talk) 02:53, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
One more note. The user claims that Major League Wrestling is still operational so therefore, if that is the case, then wouldn't he be a pro wrestling promoter? Other than MLW he does not have a history of producing television programs. MLW ran local events in Florida from 2002-2004. -- 95.211.139.146 ( talk) 03:03, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi Jim, have you considered running for adminship? I imagine you have, but I just saw your submission at WP:RFP and did a "I thought you already were", so I thought I'd ask. Callanecc ( talk • contribs) talkback (etc) template appreciated. 08:22, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Hey, I haven't editied on wikipedia for a while and I've forgotten a lot. While I was in the process of adding a citation, you reverted my first step. And someone else did the same thing moments before. Please give me a chance to FINISH what I'm doing. Thank you!!! Bradkay ( talk) 07:03, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi Jim1138; I don't want to be tagged for edit warring, nor have the time to pursue this now, but I think we're at the point where either a noticeboard report or request for page protection may be appropriate. I suspect a user block is inevitable. Thanks for helping, 99.137.209.191 ( talk) 00:11, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

HI Jim1138. According to http://www.tollundman.dk/et-lig-dukker-op.asp and according to the archaeological literature Tollund Man has been found on Sathurday May 6, 1950 and the find was reported to the police on Tuesday May 8, 1950. Please check the tollundman.dk site again, you will find that the date of the police report was mentioned in figures first and the date of discovery was only mentioned as last Sathurday. Cheers -- Bullenwächter ( talk) 13:10, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Well, the article is about Silk Road. Silk Road requires registration. Should the normal .onion-url also be removed? I think it is appropriate to refrain from that rule in this case, don't you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.55.93.112 ( talk) 18:30, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Hey - you deleted my page on sound healing about 1 minute after I posted it. You obviously didn't read it. You're not the Wiki Police, so watch your step. The article is valid. I'm an expert in the field and the original author. Maybe you should READ material before you ban it. It's a valid article, so please leave it up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.161.6.24 ( talk) 03:59, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
Please research before deletion/editing! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ghser99 ( talk • contribs)

I would to ask how does copy pasting from a site which has been encoded from a hand book is invalid? I mean, It is written on a book, being typed on a website, and Im assuming that I could use it too. btw, I'm sorry I'm really new here in WIkipedia. Im just new here, I just read the messages from some admins from my mail few mins.
Thanks Mr Jim — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justinecepriano ( talk • contribs) 05:12, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

You may want to take a look at Larsonrick25 in the Court Bauer article. The guy is obsessed with editing every couple of hours and is determined to make sure the world knows that Court Bauer is an executive producer in TV. Very weird stuff. — Preceding

Hi there, I noticed that you removed some links that I posted regarding a Diocese Events Calendar. This is not spam, rather it part of a project to unite Catholic Dioceses around the world to help each other promote events. I linked the Calendar to the Wiki page to help members of the Diocese find the calendar with more ease. Are you able to return this content? Much appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MaryBroady ( talk • contribs) 04:24, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
