I've discovered a mixup with this image. Second RPC was located at 308 W. 122nd Street, and Street View shows a church at that address with a sign reading "Mount Olive Baptist Church". Street View shows this church at 123rd and Lenox, but it's apparently Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Nyttend ( talk) 01:17, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Hi Jim, I'm a bit baffled by your edit summary at Signal reflection. You seem to imply that only articles that are stubs just containing a definition should be in this category. That was not how I read the category, or have been using it. I believed it was meant for articles whose title is an electronics term. That said, that particular article probably does not belong anyway. It is not a set phrase, but a sum-of-parts as they would say on Wiktionary. Spinning Spark 01:38, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi Jim! Thank you so much for participating at the WP:Teahouse Teahouse! Your experience is invaluable to not only supporting new editors, but, also educating fellow experienced editors. I did want to provide two tips, if you don't mind! When we assist new editors at the Teahouse, we try to be as "least" jargony as possible - linking directly to policies and procedures, etc. Usually when we do that, most new editors still don't understand (Wikipedia has never been easy on the "easy to understand the rules" front). Usually most folks who help out will explain the policies in super easy language (aka if my grandma can't understand it, it's not easy enough) and perhaps add an additional "if you feel like trudging through the policy..you can do so here." comment. Also, one of our biggest things - be as friendly as possible and always "say hi!" Everyone likes to be greeted when they visit a new place, right? :) If you're interested in taking a stronger role in the Teahouse, I encourage you to learn more about being a Teahouse Host here. And if you just want a basic "tip guide" on lending a hand, we have that too, and you can find it here. Thank you once more for your contributions to the Teahouse and to Wikipedia. I look forward to sharing more cups of tea :) Sarah ( talk) 16:31, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

The short answer is that for roads, we don't use single points/coordinates. We've started using {{ Attached KML}} with KML files generated on Google Earth or using GIS data. The files are easy to create using Google Earth, and the result draws a line showing the path of the road instead of disconnected dots. Imzadi 1979 → 04:25, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

I sort of understand where your edit is going, but i think it needs re-wording. All regenerative braking systems return energy to the power line (i.e. the third rail/overhead line) but not all of them return power back to the power source (i.e. the feeding point).
Most d.c. regenerative braking systems provide power back to the power line (third rail) so that other trains can use the recovered energy. I agree that very few have an inverter to return energy back to the electric grid.
Please reconsider your edit. Bhtpbank ( talk) 17:29, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

The WikiProject Report would like to focus on WikiProject New York City for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Multiple editors will have an opportunity to respond to the interview questions, so be sure to sign your answers. If you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. –Mabeenot ( talk) 05:50, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Dear Jim I see you have reviewer status. We are trying to update the Manhattan College page and I cannot seem to add images yet. If I sent you the new logo etc could you upload it for us? We are also working on new content for the page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Digital imaging, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Video recorder ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Would definitely be appreciated. Smallbones( smalltalk) 04:31, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello Jim Henderson. Were you involved in Relaynet? Your name sounds familiar. I used to lurk on a Relaynet board, I think it was Moondog. I don't recall posting anything. Glad to see a familiar name. Coretheapple ( talk) 00:46, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Jim - Thank you for your reply at the help desk. [2] I rotated the image and then uploaded it to File:Ford B2410-29A NLGRF Sandra Eisert 1976-12-06. I want to learn Gimp and would appreciate any help you can give me in walking me through using Gimp to improve the photo. For example, if you give me a first Gimp step to modify the photo, I'll work on that and then let you know when I'm done to request a next step. I made a prior apprenticeship request at Graphics Lab, but that did not go well. Thanks. -- Uzma Gamal ( talk) 12:35, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
