Hello, Jill McCoy, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/European Society of Authors, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Request reason:
Hello. I am wondering if it would be possible to reinstate access so that I can continue to edit pages. I currently have no other way of editing pages, and would like to access the article I was working on a few days ago (European Society of Authors article). Thank you very much for your consideration. Jill.
Decline reason:
No apparent block, per discussion below. — Daniel Case ( talk) 14:44, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{ unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Jill, you have been editing up until two hours ago so I assume this is resolved. However, we would still be interested in knowing what prompted you to make an unblock request. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง ( talk) 12:35, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you for your messages! It seems as though my access is actually still blocked from the computer I am currently writing from, which is a laptop computer different from the one I was making edits from yesterday. I guess it has something to do with the two IP addresses, but I really could not say what the difference could be. Thank you. Jill McCoy ( talk) 17:00, 29 August 2013 (UTC)Jill
Hello Jill McCoy. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled " European Society of Authors".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia
mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/European Society of Authors}}
, paste it in the edit box at
this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. — {{U| Technical 13}} ( e • t • c) 13:46, 25 November 2014 (UTC)
