Thank you for adding information to the page Dasara. However, the festival is already described more fully at other pages, especially Vijayadashami and Navratri. Wikipedia tries to avoid having multiple pages about the same topic, and this is why the page Dasara was turned into an index page listing those two articles and others. This was agreed at the Hinduism-related topics notice board.

You can still obtain the text that you added from the page history. Feel free to add material to Vijayadashami and Navratri if any of it is needed there.

I did not think your last change was helpful, and I explained there why I put the page back how it was, but if you can explain your reasons, perhaps you may show me that I was wrong. A tag has been placed on File:Madhuca Longifolia Flower- Ippa Puvvu.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
