The article David Cassidy (Documentary Filmmaker) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{ prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. I dream of horses If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{Ping|I dream of horses}} to your message. ( talk to me) ( contributions) @ 00:58, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
Note: evening 9/17 - sources and citations are being incorporated. Please consider removing the deletion warning. Thank you very much - I am going to work on beefing up the rest in the next day or so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jerseydave77 ( talk • contribs) 01:12, 18 September 2015
( talk to me) ( contributions) I understand. I'd like to ask for this to be moved back into my user space as I planned to work on it further this weekend. I can add citations to interviews. I am a behind-the-scenes individual who unfortunately hovers in the public sphere where my credits are critical. I've certainly accomplished a good bit. The entire reason for this page is that I keep having my credits linked to David Cassidy of the Partridge Family which is costing me work. Yes, it is kind of funny, I admit that but ultimately I need a place to land links that gives my credits somewhere to land. I respect and utilize Wikipedia and hope this can be moved back to my user space tomorrow so I can edit it further. I appreciate your time. Further, I am running through the tutorials - I'm enjoying the lessons. Wiki is very intuitively designed. Best, David. Jerseydave77 ( talk) 14:38, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
( talk to me) ( contributions) Since you've been so helpful I hope you will indulge a question. I respect Wikipedia and will not violate the protocol since as a user I rely on it. I have an interest in the fact that my credits are constantly confused with another "David Cassidy". I regret that this is the case but it is problem in my life and my career has earned notoriety on it's own at this point. In terms of COI I get that it is not normal for someone to post their own page but I read this clause: "An exception to editing an article about yourself or someone you know is made if the article contains defamation or a serious error that needs to be corrected quickly. If you do make such an edit, follow it up with an email to WP:OTRS, Wikipedia's volunteer response team, or ask for help on WP:BLPN, our noticeboard for articles about living persons."
There are always errors on pages that cite my work. So I need a space that can land those links. So I am asking advice: How do I go about this while not creating a COI? I thank you in advance for your advice. You have been kind with your time.
