Hey, I am new and I just want to ask if we can do a new collab on a page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ItsYoBoyHybrid ( talk • contribs) 10:26, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
@ Jeff G.: I want to start an e-football tournament on a tournament generator. I am starting to make it. I've called it the World Super League 2020-21, ongoing. I really need help. I'll send you link in a bit.
Here, /info/en/?search=Draft:World_Super_League_2020-21_(Ongoing)
The editor you are trying to tag has already said : "I do not want to be a Wikipedia editor because it is too complicated for my aged brain, but I would like to know how corrections can be made without breaking the rules (I have tried and failed to understand all that is required)." The logical conclusion one could reach from you reverting the tag back on is that you don't want them on Wikipedia at all, which is not nice. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:13, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
Hi Jeff! Thanks for reaching out. I stepped back from editing for a few months after the initial alarms (scared me off you could say!) but am back at it. I understand the need for Conflict of Interest protection. I've since made declarations on my talk page and the Iceland School of Energy talk page regarding my contributions. No one is paying me or asking me to do this, I'm just passionate about this graduate school.
I would very much appreciate any feedback and help in constructing the Wiki page for the school. I think it's detrimental to have the COI tag to the page. If someone could review the page to ensure the text is neutral enough to remove it, that would be great.
Also this is a graduate level school within Reykjavik Univeristy. I think it would be good to add it to the university wikiproject, the higher education wikiproject and/or potentially Iceland wikiproject. It may not be suitable for the schools wikiproject. Thank you in advance for your help, and anyone else's. LaurentiuAnton ( talk) 14:50, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like you to assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not do on User talk:Qprst is that. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Adam9007 ( talk) 02:15, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
All articles about anticipated events must be verifiable, and the subject matter must be of sufficiently wide interest that it would merit an article if the event had already occurredin which it echos WP:V. It is certainly better if such source are cited directly in an article or draft. but "verifiable" doe not mean "supported by a cited source" and if the sources do in fact WP:EXIST then an editor should add them, rather than nominating for deletion. On non-BLP issues, absence of immediate sources is not a good reason for removal unless at least a basic check has been done and such sources have not been found. Some have proposed changing WP:V to require inline citations for all statements, but this has never gotten consensus or anything close to it, and the rule is no different for "future-oriented" statements. (Direct quotes and statements of opinion also require inline citations, as do
material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challengedbut such a challenge should be a good faith one where an editor honestly doubts that the statements can be verified.) DES (talk) DESiegel Contribs 17:44, 15 September 2020 (UTC)

Good Morning Sir, I am really sorry if I broke some rules of Wikipedia. I'm writing this message to explain
Why i wrote the "The annual theme for the session 2020-21 is The Constiution of India "---- I study in the same school. Here I am attaching the link to our school almnac for the same. https://www.dpspatna.com/images/Almanac-Patna.pdf On page no.6, line no.2 you would find the same.
Why I wrote "The students of DPS Patna are called "Dipsites"- As I mentioned earlier I study in the same school . I am giving below the link to news report of The Times Of India newspaper which is a national daily. In the title of the report they mention us as "Dipsites" https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/patna/Dipsites-suggest-ways-to-free-city-of-dipping-woes/articleshow/3797988.cms
Why I wrote "the school won the Green School Award for 2017-2020"-- I am giving the link to school webpage where you would find it prominently displayed on Home Page. https://www.dpspatna.com/
I will be waiting for your reply.
Thank you. Ar0117 ( talk) 05:11, 30 September 2020 (UTC) Ar0117
Good Morning Sir ,
Here I would like to explain my edit of adding extra Heading "Important Events" The Heading "Cultural Events" which is currrently on wikipedia page is including events like "Kick Off" and "Slam Dunk" which are actually sports event and to the best of my knowledge "Cultural" and "Sports" are not same. Also another topic below on the page is "Games and Sports" but that section only mentions sports. And also it is repeating the things already mentioned in "Cultural Events" Section. Also both of them combined were missing some important events of our school. So, I create a new section "Important Events" and included two subtopics "Intra School and "Inter School" to sort them out and then deleted the portions from both "Cultural Events" and "Games and Sports" section. Also I am again attaching the link to our school almnac to show you the events scheduled for our school. Please refer to Page No.70 of the Almanac. https://www.dpspatna.com/images/Almanac-Patna.pdf .
Next I added a section discussing performance in Board Examinations .In India the Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the final examinations if class 10 and class 12 and in layman language they are referred as Board Examination in India. I made the table under it which talked about the topper's percentile and school mean in different subjects. For the privacy,I didn't include the name of toppers. Below is he link to the sources from where I brought the data.
https://www.dpspatna.com/page.php?PAGE=78 ----For class 12 (2019-20) https://www.dpspatna.com/upload/pdf/Class%20XII%20Result%20Highlights%20%202019%20(Web%20Version)_Patna.pdf ----For class 12 (2018-2019) https://www.dpspatna.com/upload/attach/Class%20XII%20Result%20Highlights%20%202018_Patna.pdf -----For class 12 (2017-18)
https://www.dpspatna.com/upload/pdf/Annexure-18J%20-Class%20X-Res-Highlights-2019-2020_Patna.pdf ----For class 10 (2019-20) https://www.dpspatna.com/upload/pdf/Class%20X%20Result%20Highlights%20%202019%20(Web%20Version)-Patna.pdf -----For class 10 (2018-19) https://www.dpspatna.com/upload/pdf/Class%20X%20Result%20Highlights%20%202018%20(Web%20Version)-%20Patna.pdf ------For class 10 (2017-18)
In India people actually wish to see the board exam performance of a school in order to decide whether the school is god or not so I added this section.
I hope you understand.
I will be waiting for your reply and help. Ar0117 ( talk) 06:20, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Ar0117
Good Morning Sir,
Thank you for your reply to my first message.
This is my last message regarding it.
I edited the section "Online Classes During Pandemic". It has been done by one person and whoever he is, he is making his opinion as an opinion for everyone. It says " The school made co-curricular periods like yoga and exercise and student leadership program compulsory which was seen as a bad decision". On the contrary this was taken as right decision because it helped the students connect with their old times where teachers used to teach them music, life skills etc. Also it's all kind od defaming and being a student I can't digest lies being written about my school or any kind of defaming of my school.
