Conflict of Interest concerns

Hi jdemontigny. While I was researching further reliable sources to try to establish notabily for Yamnuska Mountain Adventures based on your submissions at the AfD, I came across this article [1]. One of the co-authors is Jesse De Montigny, Managing Director of Yamnuska Mountain Adventures. Based on your username, comments you have made in the discussion and your edit history entirely focussed on this company, I believe you may be the same person and have a WP:Conflict of Interest. If you are indeed the same person, that does not stop you from editing Wikipedia, but you must disclose it and avoid contributing directly to the article or the deletion discussion as you are not an impartial editor. Wikipedia is WP:NOT a platform for self-promotion, advocacy, marketing or public relations, so editing articles about projects you are involved in for financial gain is frowned upon by the community and generally not constructive. If you click on the blue links above, there is more information about the policies relating to these things.

If you continue to participate without declaring your conflict of interest, admins may decide to ban you and your IP address from editing Wikipedia. Thanks Dfadden ( talk) 06:10, 3 May 2024 (UTC) reply
