Thanks :) (I feel like I've been let into some inner sanctum!) The unexpectedly rapid launch of the new Place template has been keeping me busy. Orderinchaos78 23:49, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Last night user SatuSoro deleted information from the page pertaining to Wesley College, Perth WA. He removed information regarding the John Bednall scandal, which was made public in 2002 [1] User SatuSuro deleted further information regarding the David Gee scandal of 2006, which, as a current member of the Wesley Community I can confirm has occurred, but has not been made public to the media.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 60.224.228.160 ( talk • contribs) .
I responded to your query on my talk page. Cheers! QazPlm 04:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Good to see OZ Hist project up - may you have a long life - wikpedian - and in the real one as well! I have been thinking of starting up an art - Australian Coastal Shipping and Australiuan Maritime History - as everything that can be found on these appear disconnected and not in any systematically connected. What do you think? SatuSuro 06:36, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
I'm ready for another nite of nonsense, I'll poking around on&off also doing these q's. Anyhow time for first coffee. Gnangarra 11:25, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Good idea. I have an Early Days article somewhere called (something along the lines of) "reminiscences of the terrace" which listed all the residents and their addresses up to about 1850. Sir Luke lived at "Elderslie" at no. 18. The Palace site previously housed the Freemasons Hotel (?). I'll see if I can dig it ouit. — Moondyne 16:58, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Sounds like a good idea. — Moondyne 02:40, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
There did seem to be some vandalism going on at Longhair's page, but by the time I got there it was dealt with. I didn't see any problem with Wesley's page. Hesperian 04:22, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
sorry for not responding. I actually thought that article is presenting a very narrow picture, i.e. beliefs of a few people as such beliefs are not entertained in mainstream Islam. Would you like to re-write the sentence or remove it altogether? TruthSpreader Talk 07:59, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
I can't believe my NPOV edits earlier lasted barely a few days! My fault for not "watching" it - when I went through and did the infobox I added them all to the watchlist so hopefully this sort of thing will happen less often :P There seems to be this sort of rivalry between Broome, Port Hedland and Karratha where all of them feel they're the biggest in the north. Orderinchaos78 12:40, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Smile nothing could match the seriousness of this, And I thought kids squabbled over petty things here is section heading war over "reaction" vs "reaction and critism" Gnangarra 12:42, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I've written to User:Dtasripin with the below references , hoping that he will honour the truth by revising the Indonesian & Sukarno related articles with a more honest account. The short version is that Sukarno was a self-declared 'nationalist' and the most unpopular of these mostly unsupported people before the war; Sukarno was also calling for Japan to declare war on the US & western powers of the Pacific. Sukarno and the Republic of Indonesia military are legacy of the Pacific war. Thought it would be worthwhile giving you a copy so you can check up at some point if you wish. All the Best. :)

Methinks it is a tactical error asking for permission to go ahead with this. If you're going to do it, just do it. This is Wikipedia after all. I don't recall making a sacrifice to the self-proclaimed WikiProject Gods before I started WP:BANKSIA, and I sure as heck didn't go before the High Court of Stub Creations before I created Banksia-stub. There's no policy that says we have to ask permission to do these things; claims to authority by these approvals boards are just bluff.
Me-also-thinks that I'd better log off and come back when I'm in a less belligerent mood. Hesperian 02:37, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
I have found an excellent source for Port Hedland history (assessment documentation, Heritage Council of WA) but don't have the time to add it myself. Where's the best place to raise it as a task so someone else can do it? Orderinchaos 03:26, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. I still have many things to do there, but this is a plan for WP:FL. :-) — Indon ( reply) — 11:51, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
I think you know the subject much better than me. How about filling the materials first, then I'll help with formatting. — Indon ( reply) — 13:39, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. I never did find any good sources for WA branch lines and I didn't focus on the Pilbara raiways. I decided to concentrate on the national and NSW railways, but it would be good to see the gaps filled-- Grahamec 13:14, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Would you (or anyone else who reads this) happen to know if Fred Chaney, Lord Mayor of Perth 1978-82 was the father or the son? I think it was Fred senior but am not 100% certain. — Moondyne 15:39, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Hiya again. Only have occasional internet access but I knocked up a draft of a stub of an article relating to Perth. Dropped in to advise you, if interested, of this draft at my user subpage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Fred.e/George_Temple_Poole. Regards ... Fred.e 18:39, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Hola, I checked the article. It is needy. The link to an album I fixed. There is an album article by that name but not by Gary Lucas. I added a "citation". I have written a couple of music stubs but I am no great writer of music articles. You are right, it needs help. Great to see you back again.-- Dakota 18:52, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Even worse - ones that never come to be. Check the Duncraig, Western Australia article for info about "Marmion City", which is now a residential estate in Beach Road and Chessell Drive, Duncraig (and previously a Thiess mining lease!) Oh, and Brighton. :D Orderinchaos78 06:51, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
I am putting together a gallery of images for Indonesian architecture (some are there already). Do you know of any architectural photos from your travels around wikipedia? I will also be uploading some of mine. Let me know if you can. thanks -- Merbabu 09:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the feedback. I have read the welcome topics, manual of style, etc.. what did I miss? It appears from your comments that I should be more careful with tags - which ones? Cleanup tags? Was I misunderstanding the CSD criteria? Or doing something wrong with stubs? I just want to make sure I'm making things better, not worse, and not creating extra work for someone else. Thanks for the help. Perel 09:18, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
