Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to
talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button
or
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --

Here's a personal welcome note from a real human being. I hope that your article on the Tees railway viaduct survives, and have said so in the debate. The best thing that you can do right now is to add at least two solid references that discuss the topic in detail. If you need any help evaluating the suitability of references here on Wikipedia, or in formatting them properly, please don't hesitate to ask. I hope that you will stick around. Take care. {{
cite book}}
template is suitable; but if they are purely web pages, then {{
cite web}}
is better. More information at
Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners,
Wikipedia:Citing sources and
Wikipedia:Citation templates.Ah ha. Sorry Cullen328, I saw your note late last night and intended to reply tonight, but forgot to reply anyawy until I saw the you have new messages message! Many thanks for your kind words and welcome. And Redrose, thanks for closing the deletion early. I think I had already figured out that it had been saved by seeing what had changed. Hopefully it's OK to be getting on with now as you say. I have a bit of coding experience, so I think this whole cite stuff is starting to make sense now. I've just made a page for the Ebron river by copying the French article, and I managed to create it with two images first time by copying what Andy4789 did for me on the viaduct page, so I must be getting the hang of it!. Give it a month and I'll be running the place. Not! Anyway, I'm done again for the night at least, real life stuff to see too and all that. Time flies on here....
