Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{ unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

Dear Materialscientist, I'm very sorry for the fact that you had to block me. I'm a young Wikipedist and before publishing anything to Wikipedia I have acquainted myself with the Wikipedia rules. I didn't want to break Wikipedia rules, in fact I thought that I'm publishing according to the rules. Things I posted were written objectively and according to the truth... But since I was wrong could you please give me some directions where I made a mistake, so that I won't do it again? And a link to a Wikipedia page where there's an explanation of the difference between posting an objective information about a product/technology and posting for marketing purposes. And I would also like to ask you to unblock me. Thank you very much in advance.

Decline reason:

Your last nine edits were to add puffery supported only by a link to a pitch page for the same product. You ignored two warnings and continued your promotional editing. I would be very uncomfortable unblocking while you are still confused about the distinction between objective information and simple marketing. Kuru (talk) 02:56, 5 June 2013 (UTC) reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{ unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I have acquaint myself with the distinction between objective information and marketing. The fact that I was adding new external links does not come from my ill will, I just haven't noticed the warnings till I finished adding the links. As soon as I noticed them I started reviewing what is wrong with my external links. I've read the Wikipedia guides about Wikipuffery, External Links and I do now understand the difference between what the external links should be about, and how I posted mine.

Accept reason:

I have unblocked your account. This unblock is conditional on you refraining from introducing links to noodor.com to Wikipedia; if you do so again, you are liable to be immediately reblocked without warning. Your contributions will be under scrutiny for a while; I'd suggest you try to avoid any edits which might feasibly construed as advertising or promotion of any sort. (adding this below, since it's not part of the unblock) If you need help getting to grips with Wikipedia, you're welcome to ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Helpdesk. Alternatively, you can ask your question here and add the code {{help me}} to get an experienced editor's attention. Yunshui  12:17, 7 June 2013 (UTC) reply

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Poland. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Marek. 69 talk 15:32, 11 June 2013 (UTC) reply
