You're on the right track-- if you can find something in the newspaper about this teacher, that would be considered a "reliable source," and keep the article from being deleted. A book or article about his military service would be even better.

I have had a lot of fun helping out with this encyclopedia, and I hope you'll keep editing! As you can see from my page< I've been working on sailing ships and Native Americans. I find it a lot easier to work on existing articles than it is to write new ones. There are friendly folks to help you get started at the Teahouse, so join in!
