This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. I am writing here in response to a message on my talk page which, although anonymous, clearly comes from you.

I fully agree that Wikipedia's guidelines can be confusing for newcomers. In my opinion there are far too many policies and guidelines: I would prefer a return to the situation in the early days of Wikipedia, when everything was much simpler. The Welcome message above contains links to some pages which may be useful, but I don't suggest trying to read them all before you do anything, as there is far too much there. I suggest that Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations may be a good place to start. It is not an official Wikipedia guideline, but rather a page put together by various editors in the hope of helping people in your situation, and I think it presents some of the most relevant points in a more accessible way than all the pages of guidleines and policies.

I do not doubt that the business exists. Presumably you have seen the deletion log for the article, as you would otherwise have had no reason to associate me with the deletion. You will, therefore, have seen that the reason for the deletion was that there was no explanation of the subject's significance, not that it was doubted that the business exists. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information on just anything, but requires a topic to satisfy certain notability standards if it is to be the subject of an article. (You may like to read WP:Existence ≠ Notability.) If, having looked at Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations, you want more information about what evidence of notability is required, you can look at the general notability guidleine, the guideline on notability of organisations and companies, or both, if you like.

You should also be aware that since, from what you say, you work for or are in some other way associated to the business, you will have a conflict of interest, as explained above, and should probably not be writing about it. Wikipedia articles need to be written from an independent, third party, point of view. Wikipedia does not exist for businesses to publicise or promote their own view of themselves.
