The image was far too big for the Canoeing page, inappropriately placed, and I'm sorry, but it just isn't a good photo either (the time-stamp is also a bad sign...).

I removed quite a bit from this article simply because it was unclear without the references. Please add material with the references as you can. Plant names are italicized, use two single quotes around a word or phrase to put it in italics.
