Before you write any more articles, please read WP:Your first article and WP:Notability. An article that just says "Chef from Argentina" will simply be speedily deleted, and is a waste of everyone's time. There are thousands of chefs in Argentina. As a minimum, if it is not to be speedy-deleted, an article must explain why its subject is important or significant enough to deserve an article in an encyclopedia. If the article is to be kept, it needs more than that: it needs references to reliable sources, both to verify what it says (The WP:Verifiability policy is that "any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source") and to establish WP:Notability, which is Wikipedia's test for what subjects shall have articles, and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
Articles about living people will be automatically deleted after ten days if they are still unreferenced. Do not remove the BLP-prod template unless you have provided at least one reference to confirm what the article says. JohnCD ( talk) 20:14, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Before you write any more articles, please read WP:Your first article and WP:Notability. An article that just says "Chef from Argentina" will simply be speedily deleted, and is a waste of everyone's time. There are thousands of chefs in Argentina. As a minimum, if it is not to be speedy-deleted, an article must explain why its subject is important or significant enough to deserve an article in an encyclopedia. If the article is to be kept, it needs more than that: it needs references to reliable sources, both to verify what it says (The WP:Verifiability policy is that "any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source") and to establish WP:Notability, which is Wikipedia's test for what subjects shall have articles, and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
Articles about living people will be automatically deleted after ten days if they are still unreferenced. Do not remove the BLP-prod template unless you have provided at least one reference to confirm what the article says. JohnCD ( talk) 20:14, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
