A "reliable source" is one that meats WP:RS. Not everything on the Internet is true. If everyone knows they exist, why isn't there a newspaper article about it? These standrs are not "impossibly high" IMO. As for your example about rape, a newspaper article that says she reported rape would work. Y E Pacific Hurricane 01:37, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi Holger67. The problem with the claims you are making about speed traps in Beatty is that your cited sources are not reliable as defined by WP:RS. The Beatty News is a personal web site, not a newspaper with fact checkers who review its claims for accuracy. Death Valley Net and Trip Advisor are opinion blogs. Beyond the basic claim that Beatty has set up a speed trap, which cannot be verified from the sources you provide, your claims go further. For example, you claim that "Beatty is becoming known as a community relying mostly on the speed trap revenue... ". To support this claim, you would need to find a reliable source that did the math. How much revenue, if any, goes to Beatty from traffic tickets? What fraction of Beatty's total annual income, if any, comes from traffic tickets? I see similar problems with the claim that Beatty is turning into a "ghost town". Census data suggests otherwise. In terms of population, Beatty is down but not out. Please see WP:V for an explanation of verifiability and why it's so important to Wikipedia. Finetooth ( talk) 00:19, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
