I don't think it was appropriate to split the Stars' page up like that... discussion started on the talk page there. CyMoahk ( talk) 14:09, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Hmm... Here are several examples of a team page being split w/ similar circumstances of being in different leagues of varying status:

David_FLXD (Talk) 19:10, 21 July 2012 (UTC)Hi Hmlarson, it seems you're working your way through the wholeSeattle Sounders squad! I thought perhaps I should explain why some individual's articles are being accepted and others rejected, even by the same reviewer.
According to Wikipedia's Soccer Notability guideline a player must have played in a FULLY PROFESSIONAL league in order to qualify in terms of notability. Otherwise, we view the player as not notable. Sophie Reiser, therefore, is accepted, while Megan Kufeld is not. These guidelines, however, are not set in stone. If a player has also received some additional recognition, especially substantial recognition, that may override the guideline. This, though, is a somewhat subjective, and editors will differ in their interpretations. Julia K. Roberts is a close call. Michelle French is clearly notable. Avs5221 clearly felt that the ESPN award was enough to move Isabel Farrell into the notable group, and accepted the article. I would have dithered, and might have come down on either side of the fence.
I hope I have helped you to understand what is going on. I imagine you might have been very confused and frustrated otherwise!
The more you can show in your article why a given player is notable, the better the chance to get her article accepted. Regards,
David_FLXD

David_FLXD (Talk) 19:33, 21 July 2012 (UTC)If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sophie Reiser, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Sir Sputnik ( talk) 23:08, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
