The article Chris Vlok has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

The Chris Vlok article which you are the main contributor to is about to get some serious editing, so this note is to alert you. Most of the edits will be explained in the edit summaries, but I will explain the first two here.
I have removed the image and the caption "Vlok at Timaru" because its provenance is unclear. The author and source information at Commons says "Hjc2010 - Own work", but the image comes from Victory Motor Racing which clearly has Copyright © 2014 Victory Motor Racing on its site and which says Credits for these photos to Bruce Jenkins and TRS. (Toyota Racing Series also has © 2013 by Toyota Racing New Zealand all rights reserved on its site). There are other images in the article which also seem problematic, but let's deal with this one first. Please explain.
I have removed the Personal Life section. It is unreferenced self promotion of unremarkable attainments. The only reference given goes back to Vlok himself.
Please leave any comments at the Talk:Chris Vlok. Moriori ( talk) 22:59, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
