Genres

If you're going to play around with, or defecate genres, at least learn the correct way to format them, here. Also, it is best to use reliable sources, as you'll find users are very protective of their genres. It's easier to get your way if you have a couple of notable publications (Billboard, Rolling Stone, NY Times, etc) supporting your argument. Yes, if you continue to capitalize genres and musical roles (guitar, vocals, etc.), your edits will continue to be reverted. Tim meh ! 20:06, 24 March 2009 (UTC) reply

Alright, this is becoming borderline vandalism. You have been told that your edits go against policy, yet you continue to revert others' edits, restoring the incorrect format and genres, without explanation. Please stop; your edits are not helping Wikipedia and are only hindering its development. Tim meh ! 21:27, 24 March 2009 (UTC) reply

IM NOT AFI-PUNK I DONT KNOW WHO THE HELL HE IS SO STOP SAYING IM HIM! UNLESS U CAN SHOW PROOF THAT IM HIM THEN THERE IS NO REASON FOR WHY I SHOULD BE INDEFED. THIS BLOCK IS COMPLETELY UNJUSTIFIED. MAYBE I DESERVE 24 HOURS FOR EDIT WARRING, BUT NOT AN INDEF WHEN THERE IS NO REAL PROOF THAT IM HIM.

Decline reason:

Screaming will not get you any extra attention. In reviewing your edits, I conclude that your entire edit history has been disruptive and tendentious editing over music genres, including edit warring and incivility. At that point I stopped investigating: I don't know who AFI-PUNK even is, and it doesn't matter: your own editing justifies an indefinite block, and this response makes it clear you think you've done nothing wrong. I did not say that I didn't do anything wrong. I admitted to edit warring with others over music genres, so saying that I think I did nothing wrong is a false statement. What I am denying is suspicion of sockpuppetry, as there is little solid proof that connects me with this AFI-PUNK guy. Yes, I do deserve a 24 hour block for edit warring, but I don't deserve an indef yet, as there is not enough proof that I'm the same guy. Checkuser me if you wish, as I doubt I'm using the same Internet service as AFI-PUNK.

Decline reason:

Your obvious familiarity with Wikipedia terms and policies indicates that you are clearly not a new user; based on that alone it seems clear that this account was created by an established user merely to be disruptive. Such uses of an account are NOT allowed, so you will remain blocked indefinately. Jayron32. talk. contribs 02:01, 25 March 2009 (UTC) reply

Goodbye, Sorry It Had to End this Way

{{helpme}}Alright this is getting sickening, I give up. AFI-PUNK says goodbye forever and will never edit Wikipedia destructively again. He also is sorry for all of the trouble he has caused over the past couple of years, and wishes that other editors (most notably Hoponpop69, Seraphim, MastCell, BrendelSignature, AngelOfSadness, TheLetterM, Salaskan, Zzuuzz and Timmeh to name a few) will see this and forgive him for his actions. Once again, goodbye and good riddance.
