Hello, I am writing a dissertation on Spanish place-names in the New World, and I see you were the one who added the sources of Columbus's Genoese name. Do you have access to these sources? I don't here in Texas. Is there any way you can send me images of these two pages and the title pages of the book they are from? I would like to cite his proper Genoese name in my dissertation, since I can't find any other source for the names as you give them. The Columbus page in Ligurian Wikipedia doesn't even have them, they use "Cristoffa Cömbo." Contemporary Genoese documents all use some spelling of the Latin Columbus or Italianate Columba. I would greatly appreciate it, and even thank you in a footnote if you gave me your name. Thanks in advance. TuckerResearch ( talk) 05:06, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
