Out of curiosity, is there any difference between "cannular", "can-annular" and "annular" in the context of jet engines? I mean "real" differences?
BTW, welcome to the wiki!

Yes. It refers to the construction of the combustion section of an engine.
Externally there is no obvious difference between can-annular and annular.

You have amended 'Details' to 'Build Details'. Do you think this is really appropriate as the table also includes modification and withdrawal dates? Gawthorpe Dave 12:07, 26 March 2007 (UTC) I felt that "Details" didn't really mean anything and that "Building, modification and withdrawal details" would be too long. Could you suggest an alternative title please? 82.21.65.109 14:45, 26 March 2007 (UTC) Thanks for replying to my question. I see your point about 'Details' not really meaning anything, but as you say, 'Building, modification and withdrawal details' is rather too long. 'Details' was originally used by Duncharris when he set up alot of the LMS loco pages. It seems to work fine if the class was named (see LMS Princess Royal Class, LMS Jubilee Class etc. so for consistency across the Stanier locomotives I left it alone as 'Details'. I would suggest for that reason that it reverts to 'Details'. Gawthorpe Dave 12:21, 27 March 2007 (UTC) OK, done. 82.21.65.109 14:17, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Dave, you have left an Under construction tag on the Barnoldswick railway station article. Is this still the case or can it be removed now as there has been no activity for a couple of days.
