'chokha' is one of the cuisines of north India.It is generally eaten with litti, bread(roti), boiled rice etc. It is made of either boiled potatoes or baked brinjal or (boiled or baked) patal(paror) or combination of either of two. This is sometimes known as the shortcut food to be cooked for poor people.

• potato, brinjal, patal(paror) or combination of either of two(as one wishes)
• chilli(green or dry)
• salt(as per taste)
• chopped onion
• mustard oil
