Hey, it's no problem. It's part of what I do, I couldn't let that happen to your page could I? :) Yank sox 02:18, 1 July 2006 (UTC) reply
Hi there:
I've been off Wikipedia for about a week due to illness and work (and procrastinating on thank yous ;-) ), but I wanted to thank you for your support on my RfA, and for pointing out that I needed to have my e-mail turned on if I wanted to be an administrator. As evidenced by my bid's defeat, I probably need to communicate a bit more on Wikipedia.
Anyway, thank you very much. I'm sorry to be writing this when you're on a wikibreak.

Hello, Just a small request. Could you in the future link to the arbcom or whatever case when you're putting the arbcom-blocked template on user page ? Users blocked like that often complain on IRC and it's easier for the people who are on IRC if the case documentation can be found without too much trouble.
Thanks in advance :-) Taw 00:54, 8 July 2006 (UTC) reply
OK, that was confusing, as technically there's no such thing as "ruling of administrators", so I read it (I'm a bit sleepy right now, it's 03:11 here) that it's some ArbCom case.
Anyway, after some quick consultation on IRC, I modified the template so it includes documentation link. So now it should be used like {{subst:indefblockeduser|Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Blockeduser}} or {{subst:indefblockeduser|User talk:Blockeduser}} or something like that. I think that will make people's lives a bit easier on #wikipedia-en :-) Taw 01:11, 8 July 2006 (UTC) reply

Hello GHe/July2006, and thank you for your support at my Request for Adminship, which succeeded with an overwhelming final count of (105/2/0). I was very pleased with the outpouring of kind words from the community that has now entrusted me with these tools, from the classroom, the lesson in human psychology and the international resource known as Wikipedia. The Free Encyclopedia. Please feel free to leave me plenty of requests, monitor my actions (through the admin desk on my userpage) and, if you find yourself in the mood, listen to some of what I do in real life. In any case, keep up the great work and have a fabulous day. Grand master ka 07:27, 16 July 2006 (UTC) reply |
