Debate (gently)
Hi Fondudaviation, thanks for taking the time to clarify the statement. As someone who is not familiar with torpedoes, the phrase triple backward (long-) torpedo was confusing. At first I thought it referred to long-range torpedoes, and I considered adding the word "range". But now, with your explanation, I see that the word "long-" refers to "tube length" rather than "range". Therefore, I would recommend modifying the statement as: triple backward (long-tube) torpedo. I was also confused by the terminology "triple backward"; could you clarify?
As to placement, the Infobox might be the best location for the detailed torpedo description, as you suggested. Perhaps, within the text, simply write: "In order to install an Operations center and housings for an admiral and his staff, the forward 57mm mount was removed (extending forward the bridge) and the torpedo launchers were disembarked (replaced by housing)."
Nice article. Regards. Woodlot ( talk) 11:02, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
