Welcome!
Hello, Filmian, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a
Wikipedian! Please
sign your messages on
discussion pages using four
tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out
Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! I noticed your edit to
Carlo Gozzi. When you want to add a link to another Wikipedia article, you don't need to add the whole web address. Just enclose the article's title in square brackets (edit this page to see what that looks like). If you want to link to an article but to use a word or phrase different from its title,
you can link to it like this (again, edit this page to see). This is called piping. Hope that helps. Happy editing.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to
talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button
or
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --

Hi Thanks for your email. I will do my best to help on this if you send me the references. After I've received them I'll send you another message to confirm receipt and discuss best approach. Be aware that Wikipedia is very strict on a number of points:
If you'd like to send me the references - either to my user page or to the email address you've just used to send me a message, I will see what I can do. Libby norman 14:04, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi Filmian I'd rather not give out my email address. Nothing personal, but I like to keep Wikipedia activities on Wikipedia and I'm sure there must be another route. What format are the references in (eg, Word)? Thanks. Libby norman 19:04, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Thanks so much! But I'm not sure which post you mean; I see dozens. (This whole system is very confusing.) If I can find his e-mail, address, I will e-mail the article to him. That's really what I need: to be able to send it to someone who knows how to post it with references intact. (I wish I knew why it's so complicated. :-( ) Thanks again.

Thanks again, John! I'd really never considered writing for Wikipedia until this opportunity came along -- I was astonished that this man, who also happens to be a respected colleague, did not already have an entry -- and will probably never do another Wikipedia article. So I'm truly grateful to anyone who's willing to help me. I am SO happy that Technical 13 ( talk · contribs), who I know is extraordinarily busy, Filmian ( talk) 10:41, 31 March 2013 (UTC) not only has agreed to take it on, but has already begun. Again, many thanks! :-) Filmian ( talk) 10:41, 31 March 2013 (UTC)Filmian
WONDERFUL! Thank you, John. Yes, all the references are intact. Thanks so much! Filmian ( talk) 11:54, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Filmian

Hi Filmian, my name is Jethro. I'm a host at The Teahouse, and another editor let me know that you were having some issues using the "Ask a Question" function there. So instead, why don't you ask me the question(s) you have below? I'll do my best to answer them or point you in the right direction. I'll be watching this page, so I'll be able to see when you respond. I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 18:56, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
