Hi Excirial. Can you help me to protect T-ara's article? There is high risk vandalism in that article. Thanks for proving the point about the arbitrary nature of Wikipedia editing. Obviously, if one is to prove that Wikipedia doesn't qualify as an encyclopedia even by Wikipedia's definition, then one would cite Wikipedia. Also, I see no reason why Conservapedia isn't as valid a source as Wikipedia but, of course, the truth about Wikipedia's "verifiability" standards are that they are completely arbitrary.
What you deleted: However, given that Wikipedia depends on self-selected "editors" to write and compile articles, with no preference given for scholars in the fields about which they are writing, Wikipedia may not qualify as a genuine encyclopedia, ironically even by it's own standards. An encyclopedia is supposed to be a collection of articles by "well-educated, well-informed content experts" (above). Theoretically, Wikipedia is supposed to compensate for this weakness by requiring references to reputable secondary sources. But, Wikipedia editors can arbitrarily delete, without collaboration, any entry they can find any of a number of reasons Wikipedia guidelines provide. Even entries posted by scholars in the field, based on peer-reviewed, academic articles, can be deleted by non-experts. Wikipedia, then, only represents the majority view of it's editors. With reference to your contesting the deletion of Article for Shayan Italia, yes I am deleting it. I created this but it seems the data within it isn't accurate and I've tried to source things online but always come to a dead end. I think it would be better when Mr Italia's project starts, that this article be then placed online in a more credible format. So kindly please let it be deleted.

I am suspicious of two users that have similar editing habits. One is User:Maxypaxywaxy and User:Bdog6152. Dear Sir,
My edit was factual in that our clueless local government, after giving away the farm to a local sports team a few years back - causing the largest mayoral municipal recall election in national history - is now seeking to give away the pigs, goats and chickens from our farm as well. The gentleman who requested this windfall is a multi-billionaire Steven M. Ross, Miami Dolphins owner. In fact, Mr. Ross has not once appeared in public on this matter, and lives in an entirely other state full time.
It would be well to restore the post, even if you do not think the epitaph of "What a d-bag" is in order. Describing our local government as clueless is little in dispute by their actions. Hello Excirial - I was just notified that my recent edit to Up with People seemed less than neutral to you, so you removed it for now. I'm hoping you can provide me insight as to why you felt it less than neutral.
This is the information I edited: History:
Up with People was founded by J. Blanton Belk in 1965 as a positive voice for young people during a turbulent period in the United States. Its historic path officially began in 1968 when it was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) international, educational non-profit entity. Over the years: • More than 22,000 young men and women from more than 80 countries have come together to travel in 180 casts to deliver a common message of hope and goodwill to people around the world, and pursue their own global education and personal growth goals through service, music and travel. • UWP has visited more than 4,000 communities in 42 countries; • Over 3 million hours of community service have been performed by UWP students; • 500,000 host families around the world have welcomed UWP students into their homes, and • An estimated 22 million people worldwide have been directly impacted by UWP.
Thanks in advance for your reply. 50.198.202.217 ( talk) 20:25, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

I submitted information for an entry on DrillDance. You correctly stated in your editorial summary that a lot of the information contained therein is similar to the entry for Marching Girls. The sport of Marching Girls (in Australia) no longer exists and has been renamed DrillDance. Perhaps the pages can be merged but the DrillDance Australia Board (of which I am a Director) would like the heading to be DrillDance to ensure information is up to date. Thank you.

In your note on why you denied publication of the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) wikipedia post, you mentioned that not enough was said about the notability of the designation. I would like to ask for your advice on how to remedy that issue.
The CIP page was actually intended as a companion page to the Insurance Institute of Canada wikipedia entry. The Insurance Institute is the education arm of the property and casualty insurance industry of Canada. The significance of the CIP designation in insurance is akin to the significance of the CA or CPA designations of chartered ccountants in Canada.
I am wondering if, instead of uploading the CIP designation as a separate wikipedia entry, I should have included it as a section within the Insurance Institute of Canada wikipedia entry. The notability of the Insurance Institute of Canada is not in question among insurance industry professionals in Canada. Its notability is precisely because of the CIP and Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) designations it offers.
By moving the CIP designation to the existing Insurance Institute of Canada page, that might better establish the notability of the designation.
Please give me your thoughts,

I understand your interest in keeping wikipedia neutral, however I feel as though deleting all of my contributions was a but heavy handed. I did include citations for the majority of the new information I added to the Douglas Walter page. I admit I may not have cited a source for every single sentence. I will reinstate my solidly cited information in the mean time, and keep in mind the neutrality of the statements, discarding those which cannot be verified with exactitude. Thanks. User:Ryukin

You undid a recent edit of mine to the Juche article. I think this must have been a mistake. I explained my edit clearly in the description, I changed the title of a heading to accurately reflect BR Myers criticism of Juche ideology, previously the heading did not match either his criticism or what was actually in the section. I will reinstate my change, it reflects what is in the book the criticism derives from ( The Cleanest Race) in the terms actually used in that book (i.e. that Juche ideology is a "sham").-- 146.90.217.116 ( talk) 20:28, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

Dear Sir,
My edit was factual in that our clueless local government, after giving away the farm to a local sports team a few years back - causing the largest mayoral municipal recall election in national history - is now seeking to give away the pigs, goats and chickens from our farm as well.

The sport of Marching Girls (in Australia) no longer exists and has been renamed DrillDance. It would appear though that they simply created a new user account with a similar username style and recreated the article at José Manuel Silveira (Entrepreneur) by Special:Contributions/DEEC294. I think it's a pretty blatant case of duplicating and sockpuppetry. Can you deal with that too? Witty lama 03:44, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi Excirial. Thanks for setting up your script to handle the backlog elimination drive. In this edit [2], AFCBuddy removed a revrev posted by Zach Vega. Is there a way to tell AFCBuddy to preserve Zach's comments? DPRoberts534 ( talk) 04:54, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
There's a discussion going on at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Articles for creation/October 2013 Backlog Elimination Drive about AFCBuddy.-- Pratyya (Hello!) 14:07, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
I noticed your recent edit to the Afghan article. Please feel free to weigh in on the discussion at Afghan#What picture is appropriate?. -- Bejnar ( talk) 20:17, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi!
This AFC tally shows a double-failure for This review. Neither the original reviewer's tally nor either of the re-reviewers' tallies seem to be updated, or perhaps I'm just looking in the wrong place. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 21:42, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
AFCBuddy is messing up the formatting of Anne Delong ( talk · contribs)'s totals. I'll fix it (again). See diff. The 2 common items about the lines that got merged are 1) they all have {{smile}} in them, they are all missing a closing brace (}}} after smile instead of }}}}), and they are all re-reviews of deleted revisions. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 21:30, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
As you previously participated in related discussions you are invited to comment at the discussion at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/RfC for AfC reviewer permission criteria. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง ( talk) 05:34, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Ha. Figured it out. (I went to the October drive talk page, which I didn't realize existed. (Duh. Of course it does.) So instead of a question, I'm just saying thanks. THANKS. Very cool tool. JSFarman ( talk) 16:58, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
I see you've not been editing for a few days.
Any chance you could either get AFCBuddy put on autopilot or share the keys to the ignition switch with a couple of other people so it could be run at least daily?
If not for this drive, perhaps for the next one? davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 01:07, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
Dear Wiki Friend/Guide, I put the first content about Pandit Jayanta Bose. I know him personally and about his works. When I first posted for review I got a reply saying all the links and citations could not be verified or something of a similar nature. Most of his work reviews were in Indian news papers back in 80's and early 90s and is not available online. I have managed to get xerox copies of some of those. I can put those in the body... which makes the page look unprofessional. What can I do to get it posted on Wikipedia. Please help and suggest!! Thanks for you support. Can you take a look at this again? The creator appears never to have been notified of the status of the draft, which headed for deletion. It appears to be a notable school. Bearian ( talk) 16:43, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

Hi there,
In your note on why you denied publication of the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) wikipedia post, you mentioned that not enough was said about the notability of the designation.

Thanks. User:Ryukin
Hello Excirial: I've signed on for the upcoming December-January AfC drive here, and have tick-marked the "AFCBuddy enabled" option. Is there anything else that needs to be performed on my part to enable AFCBuddy to tally my reviews when I use the AfC helper script, or do you handle the enabling of AfC Buddy? Dear Excirial, thanks for your effort to keep our encyclopedia. My contribution is oriented to keep alive the image of some old popular heroes, like baseball players and musicians, several of them were born at the Third World. I am backing to work, after a silence time. I hope keep concentrate in my goals with Wikipedia, respecting all rules and normatives.

Hello, I'm
Excirial. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of
your recent contributions, such as the one you made with
this edit to
Ford Mustang, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on
my talk page. Thanks.
