Hello Ericthearcher. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled " sandbox".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia
mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:Ericthearcher/sandbox}}
, paste it in the edit box at
this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. C 679 19:53, 20 December 2014 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at George VI shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hi, I am at a loss as to why you are adding lots of (paraphrase) "he was a Freemason, being a member of xyz Lodge" to biographies. Unless the freemasonry had some obvious impact on their doings, it seems utterly trivial. We might as well record that they were members of their local bridge club etc. It is bad enough that we often mention caste or religious belief when it has no bearing but worse in this case, I think at least some times you are using self-published sources, such as the Granville Angell book on VCs. - Sitush ( talk) 01:50, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
Hello Sitush, thank you for talking the time and trouble to make these commenst. First and formost Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and attempts to be as comprehensive as possible on particular subjects. In terms of individuals what may appear to be trivial to you can be a great importance to others. Information on Freemasonry is being added for several reasons: a) details are listed in legitimate published sources. b) Freemasonry is not a religion or creed. c) Requests have been made by biographers for the information to include in their biographies d) membership of local bridge clubs are not recorded in biographies. e) Many of these individuals spent large parts of their lives engaging in Masonic activity. There are many other reasons. I do not think any of the forgoing are trivial. I do not think that recoding Present Harry S. Trueman (for example) was a Freemason (and a Grand Master at that) whilst he was also President of the USA is trivial. - Ericthearcher ( talk)
