Thanks for uploading Image:Suman Ranganathan.jpg. Ekantik, can you please explain this edits by Gaurasundara: Refs: 01 02? Why are you using two names? For those who may not know, Gaurasundara is not a neutral party in the Sai Controversy and even attempted to get his profile deleted for some unknown reason [1]. He is one of the most vocal opponents of Sathya Sai Baba on the internet (otherwise known as Sanjay Dadlani) and is notorious for his shameless defamations against him. Not only did Gaurasundara's first edit on his userpage come from Ekantik's page [2], Ekantik was the very first person to greet him [3]. You need to come clean about your association with Gaurasundara and your alleged statements about being a neutral editor. SSS108 talk- email 16:29, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Dear Ekantik, I'm afraid that I'm always involved in controversies. I really should stick to dry-as-dust articles with no religious/ethnic/national/political implications :) These days, it's the articles on Purushottam Nagesh Oak and an acrimonious discussion at the Village Pump (policy) on the desirability of including caste info in Indian biographical articles. Bakasuprman et al. believe that I'm anti-Hindu. That's a strange charge to level against Bollywood-watching dal-eating me but ... I suppose it's like some US Republicans claiming that anyone who opposes them is anti-American and probably in the pay of Al Qaeda. (They'd hate me too; I have a jail record for demonstrating peacefully -- satyagraha -- against the Vietnam War.)
I'm convinced that a large part of the problem is structural. My own panacea is we should raise the bar on heavily edited articles. Say, once an article goes over 10,000 edits then you'd have to have been an editor for three months and done 2,000 edits before you could edit the article. People would have to earn the right to mouth off on controversial topics. It wouldn't shut down controversy (some opinionated and aggressive editors have high edit counts) but it would mute it somewhat. Zora 08:11, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
Ekantik, what are you talking about ???? Kkrystian 12:40 (UTC+1) 25 Dec 2006
Ekantik, please explain why do you first ask why Manmohan Singh should be listed as influenced by SSB and then ask me to add him to the category with famous followers of SSB. Kkrystian 19:37 (UTC+1) 26 Dec 2006
Ekantik, please explain the connection between my being a follower of SSB and between my creating that category and between your suggestion of deleting it. Kkrystian 20:29 (UTC+1) 26 Dec 2006
When you move a proposal for a category rename to the category-deletion page, could you inform the proposer? It took me some time to discover that my proposal hadn't simply been deleted, and to uncover where it had been moved. The notice on the category page had not been changed either. -- Mel Etitis ( Μελ Ετητης) 00:19, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
(My response copied from Thatcher's talk page, also on my talk page, and which I would appreciate you responding on my talk page instead of taking up Admin's valuable time.)
I wish to complain about Ekantik's behaviour. He is unfairly criticising and attacking me and my Wikipedia edits to Sathya Sai Baba-related articles. This is what he wrote on the User_talk:Mel Etitis:
:"Re the Category of Famous Anti SSB Activists, have you tried looking into whether such a category should even exist on Wikipedia? Shouldn't it be deleted or even renamed, given that the creator of the category (Kkrystian) has de facto admitted that he is a follower of SSB? Perhaps a COI consideration should be looked into?" Ekantik talk 04:22, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Please do something about this matter. Thanks in advance. Kkrystian 22:31 (UTC+1) 26 Dec 2006

Thanks for uploading Image:ShilpaShettyPETA.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 23:03, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Your welcome my friend. I have started compiling lists of missing films by country. An A-Z list of missing Indian films which haven't been sorted yet apart from the very beginning. First missing film on list was Aa Ab Laut Chalen which I started amongst others yesterday - I hope this is up to standards. I did contact a memebr of Indian cinema and I beleived that the list of missing films would be a very useful tool for your project but for some reason I kind of got abuse from him telling me that i am a complete waste of time! was very surprised to get that response particularly as I don;t think he is aware of my 35,000 contributions to the project. My work on India will be part of my global work on films by country (I have say that Indian film is very attractive) I have started with Argentina see Category:Argentine films there were only about 9 films 6 weeks ago and now there are almost 180 already! e.g El Crimen Del Padre Amaro a mexican-Argentine film was also started yesterday. I feel that Shilpa Shetty is a major name at the moment and with her name on the headlines I felt many red links on her page was not a good look for wikipedia. I'll start the miossing and develop her career paragraph later Ernst Stavro Blofeld 12:42, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Aa Gale Lag Jaa the second film of th missing list has also been started and I started Hathkadi earlier from Shilpa Shetty. I always try to find an image if I can Ernst Stavro Blofeld 12:58, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
I have started now started s number of earlier films for Shilpa Shetty Zameer: The Awakening of a Soul , Auzaar, Chhote Sarkar, Himmat, Hathkadi and Aao Pyaar Karen. I will start the remainders in the coming days. I ahve written it into her carrer section on her page. By the way the surpise nasty reaction I got was from User:Zora. I don't know what his problem is? Ernst Stavro Blofeld 14:37, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
See Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/List of films without article/List of missing Indian Films. When I have time I wil sort through the entire list and red link all of the missing Indian films from wikipedia ready for starting. O foucrse many films not notable enough for an article will be rmeoved, Feel free to activate links and bullet point them all. I just started Aakrosh for Shilpa but I'll have to leave Indian film for a while now to continue with mapping out the missing articles an the rest of the other countries. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 15:06, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
no probs I was kind of surpised by the unprvoked response from Zora. I thought I was doing something of very good beneifit to Indian cinema! Shilpa's career section looking a bit better now. All the best Ernst Stavro Blofeld 16:38, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Also, please advise on the correct procedure about gaining copyright permission from organisations.

I loved your edits. I also helped you more to get rid of the resume tag and made a flow to the article with sentence structures. I hope you like it. Go see it! And now, guard the page, coz many people hate Rani and they will revert your edits and mine. Thanks! User:shez_15
Hope this helps. savidan (talk) (e@) 22:28, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
The bot only links to articles that exist in other languages. Once the other languages update the article name with the new name, the bot should link to the new names. DHN 02:47, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Please read the proposition on the Sathya Sai Baba Talk Page. If you agree to it, please sign it. It is an effort to build good faith and resolve controversial issues on the talk page, rather than engaging in edit warring. Thanks. SSS108 talk- email 18:58, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
I have filed a request here to reopen the previous arbitration case regarding Sathya Sai Baba and related articles, as I believe there are serious ongoing problems with disruptive editing and personal attacks which were not addressed in the previous case. You may wish to add a comment of your own. Thatcher131 15:07, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Hello,
An Arbitration case involving you has been opened: Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Sathya Sai Baba 2. Please add any evidence you may wish the arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Sathya Sai Baba 2/Evidence. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Sathya Sai Baba 2/Workshop.

Hello, Ekantik, happy new year to you to! Man, you've got a neat looking userpage. Maybe I should work on mine to. :) Anyway, I don't think it's Ayesha Takia - there are so many impostors around. Thanks for uploading Image:Shilpa Shetty.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria.
You said: "Hello Yamla, would you mind kindly explaining this to me? I ask because this user and I are parties in a current ArbCom case and I would like to know what caused this block in the first place. Is this a sockpuppetry case and if so, where can I find the 'Suspected Sockpuppetry' case record? Or whatever else were the reasons for the block. I've tried looking around but couldn't find anything. Thank you."
Hey,
Its good to see nother British Indian here... I happened to see your exchange with Zora at Talk:Shilpa Shetty. I've tried to explain it to her that caste doesnt necessarily have racist connotations in India. She simply refuses to believe that caste is the primary identifying factor for many if not most Indians. He behaviour is getting a touch irrtating, i've stopped editing bolly articles! Wikipedia_talk:Notice_board_for_India-related_topics/archive18#Caste_lists_vs._Caste_cats is the one I started and zora started one that I cant find but ended up with squat in the way of discussion. My definition of caste is the Brahmin, Kshat, Vaisya, Sudra. Bunt/Iyer/etc are closer defined as clans or tribes. Baka man 00:39, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

You said: "Hi there, just to let you know that I have responded on the image talk-page. I'd like to ask you to be patient with me as I am obviously new to the strict rules governing image uploads, so please be assured that if I "technically" commit a violation then it is most assuredly unintentional. In all fairness I expected a helpful explanation from you the last time around and did not receive one. I have explained all of this on the concerned talk-page and would be grateful for a response. Also, please advise on the correct procedure about gaining copyright permission from organisations. I have contacted PETA (India) and they have granted me permission to upload a certain image to Wikipedia with the sole provision that "PETA (India)" is credited. Please advise on how to go about doing this so that I do not commit any inadvertent violations."
Hi
Would you please do me a favor? I have seen you are a member of cinema wiki project. Then I would like to ask you to take a look at Abbas Kiarostami, an article that I am currently working on. I would like to have your comments to improve the article. Any helps will be very much appreciated. Thanks a lot for your time. Sangak 19:42, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Hello got your message. Thanks for your advice, I know which editor your referring to and for now I have decided to ignore anything that happens but if it goes too far then yes I will report the editor's behaviour. For now Im just sorting, referencing and creating articles. Also what question did you ask me a while back? Was it about Shilpa Shetty's article? Best regards -- Pa7 00:35, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
You said: "I have just spotted this photo from Flickr and it looks reasonable enough to have been taken by the uploader and has an acceptable license, is this suitable for uploading to Wikipedia? Also, as the image seems to have too much background, it's ok if I crop this picture into some kind of close-up, right? As the license allows derivatives, this should be no problem isn't it?"

I'm afraid you're wrong. The view that auras are scientific is not only supported by Semyon Kirlian. It is also supported by other scientists. About a year ago I read about a Russian scientist conducting serious scientific research using the Kirlian camera. Krystian 19:47, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
