...and apologies

Regarding Talk:One-Winged Angel and Sairin: Katayoku no Tenshi, I have to say that it's me who should be sorry. I probably didn't think too much when choosing my wording, so sorry if I sounded too harsh. Had I had my afternoon coffee, I would have known better to Not Bite a Newbie. =)

Anyway, in my opinion there's no problem in what you've done, it's just that I hope you could primarily extend the existing articles before taking on creating a new article.

My helpful advice would be to think this: Is the topic really important enough to have a complete big article? Could it be expanded to be really really big and detailed? And by "expanded", it's in encyclopedic manner, with sources provided.

This one is about a remix of a song. Wikipedia has usually articles about albums, and much more rarely about individual songs. One-Winged Angel, in my opinion, is notable enough for its own article, but there's no need to make articles about a remix, see? Also, Wikipedia isn't a good place for analysis (much less original analysis, see Wikipedia:Original research), though it is okay briefly and on-topic. In this case, the interpretations are fine, but probably better covered in appropriate articles (ones about the character or game/movie).

And finally, don't be too disappointed - if in doubt, discuss with people if it would be a good idea to add something somewhere. And there was no damage done by creating this article either - Things that get too detailed get snipped by people, stuff that's too insignificant to have an article of its own gets merged. You've added something - it's now up to the community, even yourself, to organise it. =)

In closing, welcome, have fun, and don't be disappointed by small setbacks. =) -- wwwwolf ( barks/ growls) 09:10, 7 March 2006 (UTC) reply
