Wondering how to proceed

{{ helpme}} I created an account with Wikipedia last January, and was primarily interested in posting an article about Outcomes Research Consortium (ORC), which is a world class, non-profit, clinical research organization. After writing and posting the article, it was immediately deleted – apparently because ORC lacks notability. My appeals to the deleting editor went without response. I remain interested in seeing the article posted in Wikipedia, and I am wondering how to proceed. Any advice or comment is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Dsessler 12:54, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, the main reason it was deleted was not because it was not notable, but because the way you wrote the article, it did not seem notable. When you write an article, it should assert notability. If you do this, then it should not be speedy deleted. However, if it continues to be deleted, you can take it to Wikipedia:Deletion review, where editors will look over the matter and decide whether to undelete it or not. Hope that helps. AfD nomination of Outcomes Research Consortium

I have nominated Outcomes Research Consortium, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Outcomes Research Consortium. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. — G716 < T· C> 22:09, 31 January 2009 (UTC) reply
