I haven't gone via the Will Turner page in a long time, it isn't on my watchlist. However, if they're saying that, then yes, definitely add a protect. Dac 22:26, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
I am more than willing to allow it, albeit perhaps more condensed, in the toys section, yes. However, toys are not, nor have they ever, been canon for a movie series, as I'm sure you're aware. Thanks, man. Dac 11:12, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Hello, Drakehellman. An automated process has found and will an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that is in your userspace. The image ( Image:Lucky.JPG) was found at the following location: User:Drakehellman/Sandbox. This image or media will be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. This does not necessarily mean that the image is being deleted, or that the image is being removed from other pages. It is only being removed from the page mentioned above. All mainspace instances of this image will not be affected Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. I've seen and played as Barbossa in the PC version. You can play as him in Singapore and while rescuring Jack from Davy Jones' Locker. A friend of mine bought Wii version and he also confirmed that he played as Barbossa.
Apparently, there are two versions of the game: one for XBox 360 and PS3, and other for PS2/PC/Wii. So, Barbossa is definitely in the latter one.
I believe that the summaries will have to be rewritten if we are not to add spoiler tags. The truth of the Jack Sparrow article is that there are spoilers in it because it mainly summarizes the movie, not the actions of Jack himself. Therefore it requires a spoiler tag. I will attempt to re-write it without spoilers. Therefore the tag will not be needed. Happy Editing! -- MajinVegeta 06:55, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
In all examples of people with the prefix captain in Wikipedia (including, quite pertinently, Captain Jack Sparrow) we have the prefix captain followed by the name of the article subject. There is simply no point in having "Hector Barbossa better known as Captain Barbossa". It is a cumbersome way of wording the whole sentence. It is surely much better just to name him as Captain Hector Barbossa as I have done? Comments? Benbristol 00.28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:MeetTheRobinsons BowlerHatGuy.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 07:29, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:MeetTheRobinsons BowlerHatGuy.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 23:19, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.
Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.
