Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled " Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. For the rest of this month we are looking for more candidates to be promoted to Category:Top-importance Chicago articles. We are hoping to bring the list of category members to a total of 50. Either you have participated in past votes and discussions or you have recently signed up to be a part of WP:CHICAGO. In either case, please come visit Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chicago/Assessment where we are determining who to add to the September 1st ballot. Some candidate debates have lingered, but there are many new ones from the project's top 50 according to the Wikipedia:Release Version 0.7. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current

arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to

Sorry, but the merger of High school into Secondary school, which you administratively completed, seems to be particularly ill-judged, not by you but – unanimous or not – by the participants of that debate. Help us determine which pages to add to the ballot.-- TonyTheTiger ( t/ c/ bio/ WP:CHICAGO/ WP:LOTM) 04:07, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I see that you're a translator. A new translation tool has been implemented and is ready for usage. Could you please try it by translating any page with Internet Explorer, and then report here on bugzilla if you find something wrong? We don't have many Internet Explorer testers, so your help would be very valuable. I also think that you'll enjoy translating with this tool. Thank you very much, Nemo 09:11, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
You are invited to join the discussion at

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,

Hello, I'm
BracketBot. I have automatically detected that
your edit to
Secondary school may have broken the
syntax by modifying 1 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just
edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on
my operator's talk page.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot ( talk) 08:12, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
Sorry, but the merger of High school into Secondary school, which you administratively completed, seems to be particularly ill-judged, not by you but – unanimous or not – by the participants of that debate. Note that I have just proposed undoing that merger, see Talk:Secondary school#Revert merger of Secondary school and High school. Feel free to join into the discussion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Channel strip, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Compression and XLR. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
