Your recent edits have removed extensive portions of sourced content from the article for Galloway Township, New Jersey, without any explanation for the removal. Please ensure that edits don't remove sourced content and please be sure that all edits provide a clear and concise edit summary explaining your changes. Given the extensive removals of content, the changes have been reverted. Alansohn ( talk) 21:23, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
The biggest concern that I have with your edits to the Galloway Township article is the removal of sourced content. Can you explain why several individuals listed under Notable residents were "delted for irrelevancy"? I'd love to see the article meaningfully improved but removing sourced content without proper justification and adding other unsupported claims are issues that cannot be ignored. Please reply here or on my user talk page. Alansohn ( talk) 03:36, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
Your recent change to the article for Galloway Township, New Jersey removed relevant sourced content from the lead paragraph of the article. Just as the 2010 population will be discussed later in the article, as will details about area, details about recent population changes over the most recent decennial censuses are relevant details to be included in the lead, as they are included for the vast majority of articles for other municipalities. There is no reason for the removal of this information, or similar sourced content in other articles. Add content. Reword content. Add sources. But please don't removed sourced content. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. -- SineBot ( talk) 22:00, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
I am writing you as you yet again deleted my revisions to Galloway Township. Your insistence on adding the population changes in the introduction is totally unnecessary. This information is already included under the demographics section of the article and with you adding it, you are only repeating information. Also, an introduction is a broad overview, not an in depth detailed paragraph. The introduction needs to read as it does with my edit because many people confuse neighboring Hamilton Township as the largest municipality in the state. That is why (and therefore township) belongs in the introduction, the clarify which township is bigger. You also continuously delete the information next to the Township Manager (Arch Liston) for no reason. The date is included so it can serve as a reference point to those who view the article.
I see the information that you added to the info box on the right side of the article, although the information is a bit excessive, I will not delete it. I ask you to show the same courtesy to my edits. If you continue to undo my edits, I will keep on re-adding them. We went over this same issue a month ago, for some reason you decided it was time again to re do my edits. I have been a lifelong resident of this township, therefore I believe I know what I am doing to the article.
Please stop fiddling with my edits. Djbutala93 ( talk) 22:45, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
I've been offline for 72 of the past 96 hours, so I haven't had a chance to digest your latest thoughts. I know that you feel very attached to Galloway Township and to how you believe it should be presented. You would benefit greatly from becoming more involved in editing other articles for communities across the state and all over Wikipedia. My fervor for all things New Jersey may have led me to start WP:NJ, but I can assure you that it's far from being "my" club in any way; It is mostly quiet, but there are many other editors updating these articles with whom you may well gain insights about editing these articles. You will hear from me in the not to distant future, but I have a lot of catching up to do. Alansohn ( talk) 15:27, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
Could you please offer an explanation as to why you undid my edits?
I can see that there is a conflict with the location of the surrounding municipalities in the geo table. I have given you the following link to look over to confirm that their location was correct as I put it:
http://www.gallowaytwp-nj.gov/gis/GallowayStreetMap.pdf
Also, I see that you deleted the notable resident that I added last night, this article confirms the valid claim that he was a resident:
Please look over the links and comment on any ideas you may have. I will revert the changes to what I had.

Are you still active writing on New Jersey, you can help decide what makes a mayor notable, and whether we should have or not have lists of mayors of locations. Leave a message on my talk page to let me know that you are still active and interested in the debate. -- RAN ( talk) 05:49, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
