I don't know about that one as there is set criteria to belong to Mensa and wikipedia makes determinations concerning notability all the time - so I think that it doesn't have the neutrality problems that the genius list has. -- Trödel 12:34, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
No problem - 2nd nom is a tricky one. I wasn't drawing attention to your error, just noting why it didn't show up until then. Yomangani talk 00:17, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Hi Dennette. I just wanted to drop by and thank you for the heads-up on the AFD, but let you know that on wikipedia it is frowned upon somewhat to alert other users about AFDs, RFAs, etc. It makes it seem like you are trying to stuff the ballot (even if that obviously isn't the case, like now). I'm alerting you because I'm worried that you'll get a rather nasty slap on the wrist by someone if you tell the wrong person about a consensus (which has happened a couple of times here :-S ). Anyway, salaam and cheers, The ikiroid ( talk· desk· Advise me) 00:44, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Please offer your opinion, vote, or whatever about your choice for the image to be used with the Islamic Barnstar Award at the Barnstar proposals page. Although there is consensus for the concept of an Islamic Barnstar Award, some editors would like to change the image for the award. I was just thinking you should be aware of this discussion because you have contributed to Islamic-related articles, received the Islamic Barnstar Award, or have contributed to the Islam-related Wikiprojects, etc.-- JuanMuslim 1m 16:18, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

It is to be expected that an article on popular culture featured on the main page while receive a fair amount of vandalism. Consequently, a fair amount of people have the article on their watchlist so vandalism gets removed pretty quickly. The reasons for not protecting main page articles are summarized in User:Raul654/protection. Joelito ( talk) 20:18, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Many thanks for helping fend off the vandals while Gregorian chant was on the main page. I wasn't prepared for the level of vandalism. It's heartening to know how efficient and diligent you WP admins and editors are to revert it! Peirigill 07:10, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
When you closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Omaha, NE (Comic), you missed Mooble, or: the Rise and Fall of Modern Logic (Comic). I have already merged that article into The Stony Brook Press. Tinlinkin 08:48, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
FYI, User:Taylorhewitt, whose vanity page ( Talk:Taylor Hewitt) was recently deleted, has once again removed the prod from Xtreme iTalk ... is there some way to protect the main page and still let him make comments for improvement on the discussion page? (I'm too new at this to understand how all of the magicks work.) -- Dennette 19:10, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
What I had in mind by "fictional character" were names like Quagland and Clevemire (" Da Boom") not fictional species of humanoids. In any case, the point might be moot if the writer of the episode " Wasted Talent" knew about the English anarchist band Chumbawumba, which has been active since the 80s. Cromulent Kwyjibo 23:34, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
What the hell is your problem? How is it anybody's business that I got kicked out? How is it relevant to the deletion discussion page of Xtreme iTalk, hmm? Please tell me that.
Jesus I'm an honest guy and all I want is my article on wikipedia. If you take it down then fine I'll accept it for now but please don't make yourself feel better by putting me down in un-neccesary ways.

i didnt realize i wasnt logged in. im not used to going somewhere and not being logged in. i wasnt trying to hide. and my age is irrelevant. on the internet, what is relevant is what somebody can accomplish and achieve. Taylor Hewitt 15:19, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
"Isopsephy" is the specific form of numerology which is relevant to Abjad numerals. Most of the stuff mentioned on the numerology page has absolutely no connection to Abjad numberals (the "summing to one digit" practice which seems to dominate modern numerology was not done with Abjad numerals). I don't really see a problem with the link -- it's linking to the most specific relevant sub-area of the link subject. AnonMoos 11:20, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
I've added some ISBNs. You said in the AfD that ISBNs might change your opinion. Ekajati 21:24, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I'm confused about this too. There are, I think, two L. Vitellius and one was married at least twice. As far as I can remember there's a family tree at the back of Claudius the God and I'm going to dig that out when I get a chance. What complicated family lives these chappies led!
