Hello!
Thanks for uploading some pictures to Wikipedia. I wanted to make sure you were aware of some of the requirements and good practices for uploaded images.

Thanks for uploading File:1963 just before demolision (redeveloped).jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:06, 10 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey ( talk) 09:06, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading File:1963 just before demolision (redeveloped).jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. feydey ( talk) 09:06, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi.
I am pleased to meet someone that cares about Stockport mills. So I am watching the page, and willing to step in a give a little help where it is needed. Uploading images seems to be one area. Firstly- all images need to be accompanied by some text. This needs to give a description and some legal information- otherwise a bot zaps the file, Here is the template I used in Edale.
{{ Information |Description= Edale is a small Derbyshire village and Civil parish in the Peak District of England. The Parish of Edale, area 2,844.8ha is in the Borough of High Peak.The Church. |Source=Self-made |Date=2008-06-07 |Author=Clem Rutter, Rochester Kent |Permission=Own work, copyleft: Multi-license with GFDL and Creative Commons CC-BY-SA-2.5 and older versions (2.0 and 1.0) |other_versions= }} {{self2|GFDL|cc-by-sa-2.5,2.0,1.0}}
You can cut and paste most of this- but do change the name date and description! Just go to the image file you have uploaded- and edit. The rest is obvious. (Trust me - I have never been a bank manager.) For future images- if you go to the upload file (in the left panel) and select the option (entirely my own work) you will get prompted for the info that is needed.
Welcome!
