Reply about Your Edits to Laura Robson comment at my talkpage

what you wrote on Laura Robson's page was already there you wrote

"She now joins company such as Amelie Mauresmo and Martina Hingis to win the junior title and is the youngest player to win the Girls singles since Hingis in 1994."

and in that same paragraph (starting at the beginning)there was already the following written:

"Robson was the youngest competitor in the 2008 Wimbledon Championships,[8] but she upset the American number one seed Melanie Oudin in the second round.[9] She went on to win girls' singles tournament by defeating...."

so you just repeated what was already written. You could have just add to the last sentence which is:

"becoming the first British female since Annabel Croft in 1984 to become the junior Wimbledon champion." and rewite to "becoming the first British female since Annabel Croft in 1984, and the youngest since Hinges in 1994 to become the junior Wimbledon champion" or something like that.

Also when ypu add something to an article put a reference at the end of the sentence. put the following after sentences: <ref>Insert footnote text here or link here</ref>. Note the you just put <ref> </ref> tag around your link or note.

This is to verify where you got the info, and don't put it at External links. see Wikipedia:Citing sources for more info.

Also put the sentences in the same tense as the article, you also should have changed what you wrote in past tense, since that already happened.

One more thing next time add the four tides (~~~~) or click on the following button (seen at top along with other buttons you see when editing) to sign your comments at talk pages. -- Gman124 talk 14:00, 9 July 2008 (UTC) reply
