Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

I don't know if it concerns this section, but can you add that the author Percival Everett has made Thelonious Monk his main character in his book titled : Erasure (the character's entire name is Thelonious Monk Ellison), it appears (for me) that is a clear tribute to the artist.

This edit at Blowin' the Blues Away added 115 words from a review subject to copyright. While referenced, the excerpted words comprise a substantial portion of the article, and a majority of the prose (not counting the pure lists of tracks and personnel).
That prompted a listing at CP. I don't know the subject matter well enough to edit the material. I think it would be better if the material from the review were cut back to the one or two most salient sentences, then supplemented with some commentary from another source, if there is one. I don't know how many words would be the limit, but Wikipedia likes to err on the low side, relative to what may be legally permissible, to be safe. Is this something you could tackle, as you are likely to do a better job than someone not familiar with the subject matter? -- SPhilbrick (Talk) 21:54, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I see where you were one of the main editors of the Ernie Farrow article. I was searching Google for his cause of death, and the only reference I could find is this:
In the lower right hand corner is a reference to his having died in a "drowning accident". The print is too small for me to make it out clearly on my screen but, using a magnifying glass, I believe that is what is says. Could you either confirm this or tell me I'm seeing things :-).

I don`t know how often or if at all, you check your watchlist and/or if you watch every article you create, but if you do, you may have notice i pretty much stalk your articles, assessing the new ones and adding covers and reception section to the old ones, i did all this with the list you mention on your talk page but not only the most recent 100 but actually bookmarking the full list.
Now, the account has expired, unless he restores it, any other way i could have access to the articles you have created? And once again your work is amazing. Zidane tribal ( talk) 06:32, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi, good to see you working on the CTI discog. Just one thing, maybe, instead of putting 10-20 edits into an article, just use the "preview" function and just have the article the way you want you create it. It would make edit histories clearer and things more simple and accurate. Cosprings ( talk) 13:10, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Of Mist and Melting.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
Hey, DISEman, thank you very much for the fine work you're doing with Sonny Criss' page, and for adding articles on several of his albums. Sonny has a very special place in my heart, being one of the very first musicians I ever heard live. I caught him nearly 60 years ago, blowing for 15 minutes or so on Sweet Georgia Brown in a Monday night jam session at the California Club in L. A. Keep up the great work! Hi, thanks for having created [[Category:Toots Thielmans albums]]. However, I renamed the category to the spelling [[Category:Toots Thielemans albums]]. Regards. Wakari07 ( talk) 13:18, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for creating new Herbie Mann album articles. Did you notice the template for his albums? If you dont get around to it, i will add your albums to it shortly. I create albums for him when i have the lp in my hands. my father designed the logo for Embryo Records, and was a friend of Herbie's. Mercurywoodrose ( talk) 22:17, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello DISEman,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Gene Ammons and Friends at Montreux for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Sue Rangell ✍ ✉ 03:52, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for reviewing Getting Our Thing Together, DISEman.
Unfortunately MrX has just gone over this page again and unreviewed it. Their note is:
Please note that you should not review articles that you have created, as that would defeat the purpose of patrolling new articles. Thank you.

Thanks - Michael David ( talk) 22:41, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
Dise, if you know how, it'd be good to see all the items listed on the Prestige discography in the same table. Including Moodsville, etc. You know how to get that done? I tried with some find+replace but couldn't figure it out. Cheers. Cosprings ( talk) 19:02, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
Hello, just noticed that the info box and dates have been removed from this one. Since you edited it subsequently, I suppose they were unsourced & so that was OK with you? Regards, Rothorpe ( talk) 17:54, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello DISEman,
This is just a courtesy visit to apprise you that I took the liberty to slightly expand your above great work (Congrats! Your commendations are overwhelming!), supported by relevant sources. You just deleted a red link in the Kuban Cossacks article without even bothering to leave an edit comment to note that the name has now been taken. Please be wary of doing such things in the future. Cheers! -- Iryna Harpy ( talk) 07:00, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
In honor of Yusef Lateef's passing, could you look into creating articles for his remaining albums, like those on Atlantic? Cheers. 21:04, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
