Request reason:

Your reason here I am a new comer and I have been very unfairly blocked from contributing for sock puppetry. Here’s a quick breakdown of the events: I drafted up an article that I pushed for review, being a newbie- I incorrectly cited something in my article and after submitting the article was deleted by a mod. At the time I was pretty angry due to having just spent the time writing the article for to be instantly deleted- so I asked the mod that did the block “Hey what’s up with this why did you do this? Why would you delete the article and not just move it back to drafts? N you know pointed me to documentation or best practices for writing an article that’s messed up you deleted that when I just worked on it” I then had an errand to run, and while out and about I received a notification saying the mod had responded, so I then replied back but unfortunately I did not realize that my phone was on a different account then my pc was and so then I was blocked indefinitely for sock puppetry?? When i requested to be unblocked; the reviewing mod must have not have spoken to the blocking mod about the events, and clearly BOTH of them did not see my account was less the a week old because he denied the request…even though they both know I am not using my accounts for sock puppetry that’s evident. It also appears that neither of them have any respect for the rule in the blocking policy to NOT bite the new comers..this is so incredibly unfair, it’s clear that I have zero malicious intent..I simply wanted to contribute to Wikipedia and those two pretty much said that I cannot and never will be able to!? So after your consideration of my request to be unblocked if for some reason you see no reason to reverse this block then please let me know what steps I can take to get into good standing because this ordeal has quite frankly had me at a loss for words that this could happen and that it did happen.. thanks - cwootten CruzWootten ( talk) 17:57, 4 June 2024 (UTC) reply

Decline reason:

You have an open request on your other account. You need to settle on a single account to use. If you want it to be this one rather than your other one, withdraw the request there and open a new one here. If not, abandon this account and keep your other request open. 331dot ( talk) 06:57, 5 June 2024 (UTC) reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{ unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Can you point me towards any information about the proper procedure to abandon an account? I am more than willing to comply with whatever requirements are needed to get unblocked, this was all a huge misunderstanding on my part as to the rules. I would rather keep the Cwootten account over this one but I could not find any account setting parameters for anything related to deleting or deactivating an account so I would just like to know how to do it correctly. Also- I made the unblock request on this account because on the other account my unblock request was black listed or had some means of being over looked; I'm guessing due to have already been being denied. I really want to just contribute to Wikipedia in a positive way, there is an article I really would like to submit (properly, of course) but all of this sock puppet rules I broke by accident have been destroying my onboarding process. Please refer me to instructions that I can take?

Apologies for all previous correspondences

Your ping did not work because you didn't sign your post with four tildes (~~~~), which you should do with all talk page posts(but never articles).
The proper procedure to abandon an account is, to log out and never use it again. 331dot ( talk) 06:49, 6 June 2024 (UTC) reply
