Image:BL COUGARS LOGO.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 05:13, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
The point is, your indoor soccer team which was just started a few months ago... it's not noteworthy. Not yet, anyway. Maybe it will be someday, at which point someone who's not directly affiliated with it will think "hey, there should be an article about the BL Cougars".
A "new world order"? A "dynasty"? Is there any reliable third-party information? No, there is not. Not yet. DS ( talk) 15:10, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to
talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:BL COUGARS LOGO.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Hello, and
welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your user subpage at User:Cougar gm/BL Cougars S.C., and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's user page policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here? I'd appreciate hearing your views, such as your reasons for wanting this particular page and any alternatives you might accept.
There are several options available for resolving this matter:

to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it.I'm curious about your plans for this page. From what I can tell, you and a handful of anonymous editors seem to be using it to coordinate your amateur soccer team. If so, I should let you know that this is in violation of our policy on using Wikipedia as a webhost. If you're simply looking for a free wiki to use, may I suggest Wikia instead? Thanks! -- jonny- m t 01:13, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you for welcoming me to Wikipedia. I acknowledge your concerns over User:Cougar gm/BL Cougars S.C., and how it may appear to violate Wikipedia's user page policy. I assure you that the BL Cougars are not using Wikipedia as a webhost. What appears to be many anonymous users posting, is actually me forgetting to login at different locations before creating a minor edit. BL Cougars S.C. is an official soccer club that according to some (one), has not met the notability requirement for maintaining an actual article. That being said, as an actual club, we experience many changes from week to week. Final results, next opponent, and an updated roster are maintained as they are on all soccer club Wikipedia postings. In an effort to keep this page current, I update semi-weekly. I have noticed that other users have participated in an effort to make the article more "wiki-reader" friendly. For example, others have been found to be fixing punctuation, typos, and layout format. If your main concern, is that I am posting game times and opponents, for team members to keep notified, please let me know. I can see how this could be viewed as a form of webhosting, and will gladly remove the particular data, if the issue is to cause concern. The direction this page is taking is toward gaining the notability necessary to join the rest of the main articles on Wikipedia. Cougar gm ( talk) 18:29, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
