Please do not add non-free images to the table in this article. Our policies in general ask us to use non-free content as little as possible, and our guidelines explain that one aspect of this is that we don't ever use such images in tables or galleries. If you have questions, you can post them to the article Talk page, or my User talk page. Thanks! ( ESkog)( Talk) 03:53, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi there,
When adding new images to Eurovision by year pages like you did at Eurovision Song Contest 1970 and Eurovision Song Contest 1971, could you please try and avoid placing the images in the "results" section, as they are causing the results table to squash upon itself, and makes it untidy and against manual of style. Over at the Eurovision project talk page, it had been decided not to place images in the results section. I have moved your additions to the scoreboard sections of those articles, where they don't cause the tables to squash. Thank you. Wesley ☀ Mouse 23:13, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. It is easy for editors to get into conflict with each other, and things can get very nasty on the most trivial of issues, whether that be on the language of songs, the names of certain countries, or how we deal with incidents at the contest. In such circumstances it is worth remembering one thing: we are all here to build an encyclopedia, and the contribution of Eurovision to human knowledge can only be given justice if we work together and make articles, not drama!
Happy editing!

Hi. When you recently edited Eurovision Song Contest 1980, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Johnny Logan ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. The past month has been an eventful one for the project as a whole. Old dramas have closed, new ones have begun. Four articles nominated for GA review, three of them passed and promoted, with one of them making ProjectEurovision history by being the first annual contest article to ever achieve GA status. If it wasn't for the hard work and the many hours of team collaborations that we have endured on this project, then those accolades would never have been gained. Each of those article promotions are as a result of your continuous determination to be part of the best team this project has seen for a long time. There is a teamwork barnstar with this newsletter for you to cherish and you may display the award on your pages if you wish. Now we look to the months ahead and start preparations for Malmo 2013, and see if we can work to getting another annual article to GA status. Here's to you - the team of excellence.
Happy editing! | ||||||

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. Remember that this project can only operate if we act in a cooperative manner and engage in discussions regarding article matters. It is seen as best practice to put forward ideas to other members of the project before rushing ahead and acting on a potential falsifying action. If you feel an article may warrant a deletion, why not test the waters by opening a discussion on the article's talk page or our very own project talk page - before rushing off and submitting an AfD. It saves wasting time nominating an article for deletion which could end up with an overwhelming "keep" by other editors. Communicating with each other is a vital tool and a skill that may prove advantageous in real-life scenarios. Also be on the look out for potential new members to the project. Post {{subst:EurovisionInvite}} (which will produced this template) on any user page you think is interested to join the WikiProject, to officially invite them to join.

I just wanted to say thank you for adding images to Eurovision Song Contest articles such as the ones at Eurovision Song Contest 1959 and Eurovision Song Contest 1966. However, would it be possible on any future image additions that you could use a smaller 150px size rather than the 300px size that you used on those articles. The larger size is causing the participation tables to squash-up which is unsightly. I've resized the images for now so that the table sizes are restored. Thanks again! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current

WikiProject Eurovision Important Announcement
Dear Project Member Following a project community discussion, which was raised over the use of English translation columns on annual contest articles, and advice from the lead coordinator of The Guild of Copy Editors, who are extremely knowledgeable in regards to all editing practises and manual of style policies. A consensus decision has been reached to fully remove ALL English translations, as such content falls under the prohibition on original research, even if it seems helpful to the reader. This is because we have now to assume that every reader has access to automated translation tools that can always give them a sense of the meaning of the title in their native language; it is not Wikipedia's job to provide those tools for the reader. Which therefore means we are no longer to include an English translation column, nor are we to provide translation by any other means on contest articles. Such information is currently in the process of being removed, and a new table formatting and layout style is being rolled out across all articles. Please view the new guidance on table layout at Wikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision/Format and Guides#Article layout. An example of the new table layout style can also be access via the collapsed section within this message. Thank you. |

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:The Doors in Copenhagen 1968.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Doc talk 05:28, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Hi there,
When adding new images to Eurovision by year pages like you did at Eurovision Song Contest 1970 and Eurovision Song Contest 1971, could you please try and avoid placing the images in the "results" section, as they are causing the results table to squash upon itself, and makes it untidy and against manual of style.

Happy editing! | ||||||

Bienvenue! Willkommen!

Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to

Thank you.
