Greetings...
Hello, Chinug, and welcome to Wikipedia!
Hi, Chinug, and again, welcome to Wikipedia!
I note that you may possibly have identified yourself as Mr Aashish Gupta, the founder of
Yellowleg.com when you uploaded
Yellowleg_Logo.gif. Please do be aware that you might have a "conflict of interests" if you are making changes to (in
Wikipedia jargon, "editing") the Wikipedia internet page (in Wikipedia jargon, "article") about your own business. The Wikipedia
WP:COI policy is summed up as,
![]() | This page in a nutshell: Do not edit Wikipedia to promote your own interests, or those of other individuals or of organizations, including employers. Do not write about these things unless you are certain that a neutral editor would agree that your edits improve Wikipedia. |
In Wikipedia jargon, "editor" means anyone who "edits" Wikipedia, and "neutral" refers to one of Wikipedia's fundamental principles, "
a neutral point of view".
To summarise: it's generally not allowed for a Wikipedia editor to edit an article about their own business enterprise, but if you follow the policies and guidelines to the letter, it may be OK.
Hope this helps! Please feel free to contact me about this or any other questions you may have. --
