Hi. To me, Abyjohnmkunnil looked like a confusing username that would make it "unnecessarily difficult to identify the contributor" and it seemed as though it was a random string of letters. Obviously, on closer inspection it's a name so I'm sorry for my haste! Maybe capitalization of the name would have made it easier to see? Anyway, thanks for your help and I'm sorry for my n00biness at these tasks!
Thanks again. -- Blake 01 15:28, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, he ended up withdrawing. I can be seen here. Most of the opposes were for a couple mistakes he'd made at AFD or that it'd been too short of a wait since previous RFA (even though it'd been 3 months), or that his answer to Q3 was weird. Next time, I guess. Useight ( talk) 17:22, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
...and it's 22/2/2. Any thoughts at this stage? I must have checked the page about 30 times today...! GB T/ C 17:46, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Rudget. Thanks for this: I was following a help desk thread and got to here where you declined a speedy (at least "for now"). Sympathizing with the author of the page, I'd like to thank you for that reprieve. Even if a page might eventually get deleted, I think it's more friendly to the new users to use one of the slower deletion methods. Besides, it looks as if it might just squeak in under the notability criteria. -- Coppertwig ( talk) 21:56, 16 February 2008 (UTC) P.S. I just added a ref to it. -- Coppertwig ( talk) 22:01, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
ANI and Talk:Kosovo - I couldn't find any support for it. It's being watched and I'll protect it again if the edit wars flare up again. east.718 at 18:36, February 17, 2008
I'm disappointed that you apologized AFTER your protection ran out. You should have removed the full, then apologized, instead of waiting for it to expire, then apologize, as if you were truly contrite. It's a disappointing behavior to see in an Admin. ThuranX ( talk) 22:14, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Dear Rudget, here is a little note to say thank you for your kind vote on my request for adminship which succeeded with a final result of (29/5/5).
I cannot thank you enough for you're support on my RFA. And now that I am a sysop, I will work hard to improve the encyclopedia with my new editing tools. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries you have. I would be glad to help you along with the other group of kind and helpful administrators.
Thank you again and I look forward to editing alongside you in the future. — Chetblong T C 20:43, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Rudget, thanks for voting in
my RfA, which passed with 47 supports (I hoped for a perfect square, but two away is close enough!), 3 opposes (the first odd prime), and 0 neutrals. I'm glad the community has decided to trust me with the mop and bucket (the
flamethrower isn't supported). Of course, special thanks goes to my nominators
Auawise and
that one guy who buried stuff (not that the thanks I give to the you isn't special!). If you ever need a hand with something, or just want to say hello, ![]() |
Nope not an admin. ;) Thanks for coming the closest to skirting cliche number one in my RfA! Nousernamesleft copper, not wood 23:05, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, I was away in the past few hours and could not help control the changes to Kosovo. Anyway I've heard reports that several countries will be recognizing Kosovo today so unless the map stirs too much edit warring I'll leave it for the time being. Once Kosovo starts receiving wide recognition I will consider the map perfectly legitimate. Regards, Hús ö nd 23:39, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Hey mate, if you get a minute, could you pop on to IRC, as I have a question which you'll know the answer too. I'll be in #Wikipedia-en, just so you know. Take care, Qst ( talk) 15:13, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Template:User Portal NWE requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. -- MZMcBride ( talk) 19:22, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
The significance of this article is that it is a band which a former member of Nighwish is currently in. Many people want to know more about them because they are gradually gaining more fame. The article was not completed when you deleted it. Thanks for making an entire hour of my time researching wasted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PowerSymphonia ( talk • contribs) 10:42, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
I see you didn't yet update Template:FPO number and Portal:Featured content/Portals. Did Portal:Internet and Portal:Kentucky tie for 100th Featured Portal on the English Wikipedia? If so, this would be a neat milestone to report somewhere... Cirt ( talk) 17:02, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
You have admonished me for filing a CfD for the sockpuppetry case apparently against me. have been accused of being a sockpuppet of myself. This is clearly ridiculous, and an abuse of the whole process. How am I supposed to respond? RolandR ( talk) 19:39, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for participating in my RFA, which closed successfully with 40 supports, 13 opposes, and 4 neutrals. For those of you who supported my RFA, I greatly appreciate it. For those who did not, I'm also thankful for your constructive criticism. If you need some advice or have some pointers for me, you know where to reach me! A special thank you to Majorly for all his time and effort he has placed in my nomination. Once again, thank you all for your helpful comments. Now off to new admin school!
