This is the userpage for a Registered UK Charity - registration number 1116862 and the page provides information aboutthe Charity and its activities, not advertising. By definition, advertising is intended to generate profit for an organisation or entity - as a non-profit organisation, this clearly cannot be the case for a charity.
- It isn't about money, or the lack thereof; it is perfectly possible to advertise a nonprofit organization. Your userpage is an advertisement for your charity. Have you read WP:USERPAGE? Your userpage is to help create the encyclopedia; it isn't free web space to create a home page. Please do not be so patronising. If you actually read the entry, you would see that we already have a web page - this is merely an entry to allow interested parties to find out informaton about the charity. This is supposed to be a community venture - we are all volunteers and are saving the lives of children. Are the popstars and hollywood actors you 'advertise' doing the same ?

- It's a very worthy cause, and I commend you for it. You are under no obligation to show me the page that disturbed you; I only made the offer because you seemed troubled by the pop star who was promoting herself on Wikipedia, and I'd be glad to help correct the problem. It really might be helpful if you read WP:ORG, which explains our notability criteria, and WP:COI, which explains our conflict of interest guideline. As you say, you're very busy running your charity, and I'd hate for you to waste time on Wikipedia trying to create an article that won't meet the guidelines here, when you could be spending your time helping to improve children's lives. - FisherQueen ( Talk) 16:26, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
