e*Too little too late perhaps for this user above me, but do NOT directly inject PPX HCl (or PPX in general) especially such stuff as home extracts. PPX is a strong vasoconstrictor with seemingly more alpha-agonist effects than racemic (meth)amphetamine. In terms of affinities for transporter release I saw awhile back it was listed as 5-HT > NE => DA.

The oral PPX was est. by some methamphetamine users to be somewhere 1/10th or 1/5th the CNS strength of (S)methamphetamine HCl and (R/S)methamphetamine HCl respectively with around 1/3 of the pressor effects respectively. More PNS effects to CNS ratio than methamphetamine but far less than (R)methamphetamine (levametafetamine.)

The worrisome dangers of IV Benzedrex are multifaceted. Greater vasoconstriction leading to vasospasm and focal necrosis similar to a bolus of epinephrine in a small vein. Two is the shoddy extraction leaving leftovers from the essential oils (a single naptha wash of PPX HCl leaves one with a gummy wad of yellow crystals.) I thing the single biggest overlook though is the fact that injection of material from cotton is well known to cause systemic problems beyond drug effects. For example cotton often harbors pathogens responsible for cotton fever in IV users who filter with cotton. Another problem is organic fibres that break off and end up in as solution that can cause anaphylactic shock when injected.

If one performs an HCl extraction I'd recommend in the name of harm reduction that one use it nasally or through vaporizing rather than IV if one must do a route besides PO. Once ago I made a molecular flowchart in terms of estimatd and confirmed metabolism and the metabolic products thus released and worried me was not PPX or N-Desmethyl-PPX (norpropylhexedrine) but the production of things similar to NE/EPi like so
