Thanks for the information, not being from the "states" there are somethings especially with the school system that I know very little beyond the media interpretations. The advantages in that is when reviewing unexplained and local terminology stand out. Hi BQ. I just wanted to let you know that I probably won't be around to help much with the A&M article for the next two weeks. My husband and I are taking a long-overdue toddler-free vacation and most likely won't be near a computer. I had hoped that our FA status would have been decided one way or another by now, but at least there doesn't seem to be a lot of requested changes anymore, which is probably a good thing. I'll probably be spending a little bit of time online this weekend, but then that will be it until about June 18th. Good luck with the article and I'll be checking in again when I get back :) Karanacs 15:43, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry this took so long to get back to you. I guess it's a judgement call...talking about how issues fit into the article is one thing but just arguing over how steel reacts to fires is a little off topic (as regards to the article). We're not trying to come to any conclusions about that kind of research, all we should be talking about is how/if some research fits into the article. I know it can be a little bit of a grey area but those pages go sideways so often sometimes it's good to just nip it in the bud...I don't do it too often though! Thanks for the note. What's the significance of the Unicorn painting that this guy keeps adding to the A&M article? He says it's not trivia, but it certainly looks like it in the context of the article? Hi – Have patience, my young Aggie padawan.
'Article Statistics' links to a summary page by quality at Wikipedia:Version_1.0_Editorial_Team. Every WikiProject with stats links to that page. Since your project is new, WP 1.0 bot hasn't had a chance to update it yet. Tag some talk pages and wait – it only updates our stats every two weeks so it will probably be a week or more before you get an update on the main project page. First off:
Thanks for uploading Image:1st_Aggie_Band_1894.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{ GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:55, 19 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali ( talk) 22:55, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the information, not being from the "states" there are somethings especially with the school system that I know very little beyond the media interpretations. The advantages in that is when reviewing unexplained and local terminology stand out. Maybe a supporting article to explain the use of it, how its socially developed etc then you could revert back knowing that its clearly explain. BTW I found the article informative, its a credit yourself and the other editors who put the effort in. Gnan garra 05:06, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
removed a bunch of deadwood phrases on the OU site. I am assuming some OU people are going to look at my talk page to thank me. so i deleted your message. just to let you know. btw, lets not try to burn our bridges with other sites. your review was correct and all, but be careful. gig em! Isn't the picture a bit too large? What do you say if we remove it for now, and I retake a better shot once I return to Aggieland and upload it on June 3rd? I think the picture we have now is fine on the 12th man article, but probably not on the A&M article as it takes up a lot of room. I actually had the original picture deleted on Wikicommons since copyrighted stuff isn't allowed on there. Then I accidentally deleted it...D'oh! BlueAg09 ( Talk) 08:37, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

This has been an extremely difficult month, in the wake of my sister's passing, and I cannot tell you how much it meant to me, how reassuring, it was when I got home from the two week roadtrip to Florida and South Carolina, to find that an un-acquaintance, only known through the magic of the web, had left such a thoughtful and kind message.
My sincerest thanks! Bless you!

I don't know if you play video games, but I said in the article if you lose, you restart. How excatly do I reference that? I have heard of referencing the game itself, but I've only done that once before quite a while ago, and I don't remember how. Otherwise I don't know many people who would challenge "the player must retire and restart the race." Do you think I should reference the game anyway?-- Clyde ( talk) 04:48, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Image:Texas AMU logo.png doesn't have a fair use rationale. I was actually impressed with the FUR for the first image. I left similar GA comments at almost all of the passed educational institutions for lack of FURs. The article looks really good, I don't know how this FUR was missed. -- Nehrams2020 07:42, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I am not sure if you know about this, but here are some good pictures of A&M, including a good band one. maybe a replacement for the one in our site. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Images_of_Texas_A%26M http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Lone_Star_Showdown_2006_TAMU_band.jpg
I don't know if you noticed this, but a while back Slocum edited his own article. I thought I would point this out to you. My theory is he was bored one day sitting on his desk in the Administration Building and googled his name. The wiki article turned out to be the first result! Can you please correct your broken examples in the Duke Talk page? [[1-12-2007]] is not a correct way to wikilink a full date. I'm not bothered your mistake (I make them all of the time!) but it does seem to have possibly confused at least one new(er) editor. Thanks and happy editing! -- ElKevbo 21:11, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia:WikiProject Proposed it with the wikiproject council. Put your name down if you are interested in joining

To add an article to our page,
What's the significance of the Unicorn painting that this guy keeps adding to the A&M article? He says it's not trivia, but it certainly looks like it in the context of the article? Can you please add a judgment to that. He made it difficult to correct those bad numbers that another anon user added, but I got those removed finally. I'm guessing it's just a troll. Thanks. -- Claygate 17:24, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Have fun tagging stuff, and let me know if you need anything else! - Krakatoa Katie 16:12, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

I changed to support -- thanks for being so quick with the changes I requested. I hope you don't think I'm too picky, but I'm part of the Wikiproject Biography so I tend to be a stickler for the naming rules. You did a great job on the article--I learned things about the band that I didn't know. As for my vacation, my lips are sealed, but thanks for asking ;) Karanacs 20:30, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

I created chimera test articles from different articles for new pages that I have suggested should we choose to go for the featured topic award. Most of what i did was copy and paste. none of the sections flow.
I need some suggestions on where to continue. especially on student life, although we could expand some of the colleges.
remember to get featured topic status just have to get them to GA status. i don't think these articles are FA type articles anyways. Thanks for your help. Oldag07 12:32, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
