give it up. -- Pwnage8 ( talk) 16:18, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Acts from which this act spun off; acts which spun off a group act; groups with which an artist performs; other acts with which the act is associated.
The first one covers Strange Itch, Dumb Luck, and 'Used'. The second hilighted one covers New Transit Direction and Rancid, because Dan performs with NTD, and Branden performs with Rancid now. It doesn't matter if he said he wants nothing to do with The Used, he was in the band. If you look at the Rancid page, you will find The Used in associated acts. Likewise, Rancid should be in the Used article. The final hilighted item covers Good Charlotte, because their drummer recorded on their album, thus they are associated with them. If you look up "associate" in wiktionary: [2] you will find: A person united with another or others in an act, enterprise, or business; a partner or colleague. Dean played drums on their album, and act of business/enterprise. He plays in a band, thus the band is associated with them. So based on these wiki guidelines, those bands should be included, so I will go add them, bringing the page back to how it should be. -- Pwnage8 ( talk) 17:36, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an
edit war according to the reverts you have made on
The Used. Note that the
three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the
three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be
blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a
consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue
dispute resolution.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be keeping an eye on it from now on. -- Pwnage8 ( talk) 17:53, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
That makes sense, as I had originally heard The Used recorded 19 songs for the album, not 20. -- Pwnage8 ( talk) 21:27, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
