A source does not become magically reliable simply because it has gained more followers in a recent time period, especially if it gained those followers through a lack of adherence to Journalism ethics and standards such as by purveying false information, unverified information, or conspiracy theories that individuals within a particular movement desire to hear for tribalistic or ideological reasons. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
