Hi Pol430! I have just received your message on my profile's talk section and noted that you have temporarily removed the article Insecurity Insight. First of all, let me stress that I have put lots of effort into writing this article, adhering to the 'spirit of Wikipedia' and its rules. As I have an affiliation with the organization, I have added the 'Notable Wikipedian' tag to its page. While developing the article, Gtwfan52 kindly pointed out a couple of it flaws, e.g. the problem of using content from http://insecurityinsight.org/history.html. I have been in touch with the organization's representative who confirms that the content on this page can be considered as being in the public domain (it is history). On behalf of the organization, I have added a statement under the article's talk page. I kindly ask you to now help me revert the page to its previous version. Many thanks for your help and rapid response. Griberg 21:32, 04 June 2012 (UTC+2).
I'm afraid I can't help speed things up for you. All the people who answer the emails are volunteers and there is no deadline on Wikipedia. Although, it seems strange that it is taking this long -- it sometimes takes 3-4 days, but it is now 5. If the person from the organization is sure they have sent the email to the correct address you could try contacting Sphilbrick ( talk · contribs) who is an OTRS agent that often deals with copyright permissions. Hey all. Some quick but important updates on what we've been up to and what's coming up next :).
The curation toolbar, our Wikimedia-supported twinkle replacement. We're going to be deploying it, along with a pile of bugfixes, to wikipedia on 9 August. After a few days to check it doesn't make anything explode or die, we'll be sticking up a big notice and sending out an additional newsletter inviting people to test it out and give us feedback :). This will be followed by two office hours sessions - one on Tuesday the 14th of August at 19:00 UTC for all us Europeans, and one on Wednesday the 15th at 23:00 UTC for the East Coasters out there :). As always, these will be held in #wikimedia-office; drop me a note if you want to know how to easily get on IRC, or if you aren't able to attend but would like the logs.
I hope to see a lot of you there; it's going to be a big day for everyone involved, I think :). I'll have more notes after the deployment! Okeyes (WMF) ( talk) 19:58, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
Hey all :)
A couple of new things.
First, you'll note that all the project titles have now changed to the Page Curation prefix, rather than having the New Pages Feed prefix. This is because the overarching project name has changed to Page Curation; the feed is still known as New Pages Feed, and the Curation Toolbar is still the Curation Toolbar. Hopefully this will be the last namechange ;p.
On the subject of the Curation Toolbar (nice segue, Oliver!) - it's now deployed on Wikipedia. Just open up any article in the New Pages Feed and it should appear on the right. It's still a beta version - bugs are expected - and we've got a lot more work to do. But if you see something going wrong, or a feature missing, drop me a note or post on the project talkpage and I'll be happy to help :). We'll be holding two office hours sessions to discuss the tool and improvements to it; the first is at 19:00 UTC on 14 August, and the second at 23:00 on the 15th. Both will be in #wikimedia-office as always. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) ( talk) 15:58, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello Pol430,
I am having some problems getting an article edited to a good standard and unfortunately the editor who has attended to my contribution either deletes my contribution without helpful comment or appears adverserial. I have been very polite in my 'talk' and I have re-re-revisited my contribution, used citations and references to books rather than fan sites. The other editor has been very abrupt and frankly unhelpful. Hi Pol430. I'm leaving you this message because you have previously been involved as an adopter with Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. A clean-up of this program is currently underway, and as part of the process I am trying to find out who is and isn't still interested in remaining an adopter.
If you would prefer not to be part of the adoption program anymore, you need do nothing; when the overhaul of the project is completed your name will be removed from the list of active adopters. However, if you have current adoptees, an active adoption school or an interest in adopting in the near future, then please let us know by signing here.
If you want to remain in the project and can currently take on more adoptees, there is a serious backlog at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user; it would be enormously helpful if you could take on one or two of the users there. Please do keep an eye on the project for upcoming changes, we could use your opinions and your help! Yunshui 雲 水 09:15, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Hello.
I would most appreciate some information or a referral to the correct contact. I have 3 questions on an entry I worked on for the Alpins method of astigmatism correction:
1. Quite a bit of work has been done on the entry since you first accepted it. Is it possible to petition for a rating improvement (from C to B)?
2. Is it possible to petition for an upgrade in the importance scale (from low to medium, maybe) for the entry?
3. Is it possible to change the capitalization of the title page (from "Alpins method..." to "Alpins Method..."?
Thank you for your attention and consideration.

We're (very shortly) closing down this development cycle for Page Curation. It's genuinely been a pleasure to talk with you all and build software that is so close to my own heart, and also so effective. The current backlog is 9 days, and I've never seen it that low before.
However! Closing up shop does not mean not making any improvements. First-off, this is your last chance to give us a poke about unresolved bugs or report new ones on the talkpage. If something's going wrong, we want to know about it :). Second, we'll hopefully be taking another pass over the software next year. If you've got ideas for features Page Curation doesn't currently have, stick them here.
Again, it's been an honour. Thanks :). Okeyes (WMF) ( talk) 12:05, 17 October 2012 (UTC)

Try leaving a message at his talk page to see if he can check if the request has been received. Pol430 talk to me 12:11, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi there,
I edited the Mortara Center for International Studies page to be more neutral. Could you review again and see if you think it's from a neutral standpoint now? If you think it's still not neutral enough, could you point out which sections could use additional editing? Very new to this. Thanks.

Hi, I think the 'copyrighted' material you have removed from the above article is material that belonged to Wikipedia to start with, and has been copied and copyrighted by someone else. I am considering running an adoption program for the user on his talk page; however, since you have made the comment before I am asking if you would like to do the same. Basically, he would run through an adoption program (modified to account for his abilities under the block) while blocked on his talk page. I have no preference as to whether he runs through yours or mine or if we did a dual adoption with one of the two of our adoption programs. Ryan Vesey Review me! 19:46, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

I would have made an edit change but you asked that no one edit the page. I was just reading and noticed you wrote "You can use the green 'AGF' link in cases where the user clearly tried to improve the article, but actually made it worst."
(Somewhere else I noticed you wrote: "Rest assured that as long as you do the right thing, your attacker will come off worst in the long run." I think this is the same mistaken substitution of "worst" for "worse.")

Granted, I have made some changes with this article during the last few months, but still staying within the parameter.
I have no wish to cause a drama but I would like someone else to look at my contribution http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Honda_PC50&oldid=511109048 and to tell me kindly how to put things right.

Hey Bellerophon. This will be, if not our final newsletter, one of the final ones :). After months of churning away at this project, our final version (apart from a few tweaks and bugfixes) is now live. Changes between this and the last release include deletion tag logging, a centralised log, and fixes to things like edit summaries.
Hopefully you like what we've done with the place; suggestions for future work on it, complaints and bugs to the usual address :). We'll be holding a couple of office hours sessions, which I hope you'll all attend. Many thanks, Okeyes (WMF) ( talk) 11:00, 24 September 2012 (UTC)

Best regards. --Keith Kcroes ( talk) 00:08, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Hey all :).
