Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2019! |
Hello WikiProject Video Games, may you be surrounded by peace, success and happiness on this
seasonal occasion. Spread the
WikiLove by wishing another user a
Merry Christmas and a
Happy New Year, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past, a good friend, or just some random person. Sending you a heartfelt and warm greetings for Christmas and New Year 2019. Spread the love by adding {{ subst:Seasonal Greetings}} to other user talk pages. |
I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. If you don't like Christmas or just don't celebrate it in any of its forms, then please accept a generic "Happy Holidays". :) JOE BRO 64 13:48, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
Hi, i know this is old, but i just want to reply to you about the use of the check mark in the video game list last time. It was added last time so that we can easily sort the games released in a region by alphabet order. Example, to view only games released in Japan in alphabet order, you can sort by the check mark first then sort by alphabet. By removing the check marks, people need to scan through the whole list if they are interested in viewing the games released in only one region in alphabet order. I don't know when it is decided to remove it from all the list, but since every page are using the same format now, it should be okay since no one complain about the removal of the check mark yet. - 155.69.160.75 ( talk) 03:05, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
Hi! On the "List of Super Nintendo Entertainment System games" article, can you fix the publisher information on games that have more than one publisher, please? An example is Pocky & Rocky 2 where it says "Natsume NA/JP, Ocean Software EU" instead of "Natsume (JP/NA) Ocean Software (EU)". 2605:E000:121D:8BF5:C918:17B2:AB4C:4391 ( talk) 02:16, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
Before adding a category to an article, as you did to
Pac-Land, please make sure that the category page actually exists. In some cases, it may be appropriate to create a new category in accordance with Wikipedia's
categorization guidelines, but it is usually better to use the most specific available existing category. It is never appropriate to leave a page categorised in a
non-existent category, i.e. one whose link displays in red. You may find it helpful to use the gadget
HotCat, which tests whether a category exists before saving a change. Thank you. --

Please be careful when interpreting Japanese titles. For example Hey You, Pikachu! was titled Pikachū Genki Dechū (ピカチュウげんきでちゅう) in Japan. It was not titled "Pikachu is Fine-achu". That is just a translation of the title, not what the game was actually called in Japan. The current way it's written on Hey You Pikachu is appropriate, but it could be put in a footnote I suppose. But I do want to say that your edits have been mostly helpful and good cleanup so thank you. TarkusAB talk 17:27, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi! Can you do something about a vandal who keeps adding the "Category:Atari 8-bit family games" link onto EVERY list of games released on consoles, handhelds and computers articles (an example being List of Super Nintendo Entertainment System games), please? I tried to remove the link in the non-Atari 8-bit games list articles but it doesn't appear in the editing pages. 98.148.147.172 ( talk) 00:31, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
