I think I understand what's going on now. You're going to have trouble trying to use Wikipedia the way you're using it, because other people will be deleting or otherwise editing your pages. I believe this type of usage is welcome at Wikiversity- see http://en.wikiversity.org - that site is meant to be a general-purpose educational tool, whereas Wikipedia is more tightly focused on being an encyclopedia. You may want to pass this message along to your instructor. Friday (talk) 15:30, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot ( talk) 12:52, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
Hello Avannupo! Your additions to
Mabel McKay have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the
public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a
suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see
Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid
copyright and
plagiarism issues.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sennecaster ( Chat) 07:06, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
