    • Thank you kindly, Kingdon. I appear to have a formatting problem on the discussion page for the article Pottstown, PA - my comments appear much wider than the screen? Or will they revert to normal appearance somehow? Arenaria ( talk) 10:50, 31 December 2009 (UTC) reply
You get that effect if there are leading spaces at the beginning of a line. I have removed them, and it looks OK now. If you want to indent, use colon characters : at the beginning of a line, which indent the whole following paragraph. Each colon gives about four characters worth of indent - there are two at the beginning of this reply. JohnCD ( talk) 11:01, 31 December 2009 (UTC) reply
